Thread: Protein Shake Recommendation?

  1. #1

    Cool Protein Shake Recommendation?

I've been going to the gym for a while now to bench, lift dumbbells, work shoulders, etc, 4 days a week.

I used to use LeanFit WHEY Protein because it's cheap ($29.99).

What can do you recommend for me? I am about 220 lbs, 5"11...not jacked but I do have some muscle.

It has to be available in Canada.

Great, thanks. I guess I'll just go to the store and find something that's low in carbs, fat, sugar, etc... Thank you.

I will tell you the iso 100 is very good tasting and I have been told it was one of the best for you. I can only find it online

iso 100 is pretty darn expensive. I stick with the cheapest whey i can find. Make sure you look at the nutritional info for the carb and fat content as well. In my opinion brands like muscle milk have too many damn carbs. My average shake has 1-2 scoops cytosport whey and 1/4-1/2 cup raw oats. Keep it basic, you can't go wrong!!

I like the cheapest unflavored whey protein isolate I can find. very flexible to mix with just about anything you wish.
