I have no interest in building muscle, I want to do this to relieve depression Iv been going through for 14 years and bring back sexual function which as been absent for ten years, Iv read plenty of trials that trt relieves depression, went to an endo, got the yes your levels are in the normal range total-T 21.2 so I want to do a trial and see if this will work, can someone please give me advice on going about doing this, the first thing is how can I get testosterone without prescription?
I'm a 29 year old male and I live in Ireland

First, please don't ask for a source, which is what it appears you are doing? You open yourself up to scammers and a whole host of other "less than desirables".
Second, test is not a wonder drug. if your test levels are "normal", then you do not have a deficiency, so I'm a little confused why you think additional test will cure your ailment?

If it were me, I'd take a look at my overall physical condition. Am I overweight and lethargic? Do I eat a bunch of junk and could this low quality food be effecting me?

I'm not a psychologist, and I don't play one on TV either, but it sounds like your emotional problems may be caused by other things than a normal test level.

What else have you tried to cure your ailment?

Welcome to the board. What you've describe is known as a therapeutic trial. It's the brief use of a medication based on symptoms only. I began researching the concept before starting my last cycle.

I started PH at 14-15 and used anabolic steroids at age 17-20. I did proper PCT and blood work every 6 months. Technically speaking my hormone levels are fine, however I had many symptoms that began to spring up on me as I approached age 26. After using testosterone every symptom disappeared. Many of the odd personality changes that I had in the beginning of my 20s went away, and my old personality began to return. One of the big ones for me was memory. I had the worst memory possible, I could forget a tv show in one day.

Its your health. I dont trust just one doctors opinion, Im currently under the care of 3 different endos in order to get to the bottom of my issues.

That being said. I would error on the side of Times Roman's inquiries. There are many causes for the symptoms you've described.

Just tell him you want to try a trial and the worst he can say is no.

Asking a doctor for a therapeutic trial for testosterone will likely have poor results. My experience with endos thus far is the they was woefully under informed when it comes to TRT. Combine that with a defensive elitist attitude that some doctors possess and you will find your best option is treating yourself.

One endo put her clip board down, sat down, and folded her arms as soon as I mentioned I had made some mistakes early on by using anabolics. She was completely disengaged at that point- and every question after that had a passive aggressive jab.

@ OP- You must understand that its unlikely that your problem will be fixed by testosterone. It's possible, but not likely. Your posting on a board that represents a very small sub culture of steroid users. Its more likely that a former/present steroid user would require testosterone therapy than someone who has never done them. So keep that in mind.

your doctor friend makes some sense...i guess he/she cant treat you?

where, what and when did you run before....when your depression went away?

Well that doctor friend is more of a loose associate, would be a very long shot to ask him.
The last time I had libido I was 18, wouldn't say I was in any way happy nor was I depressed but I did have a sense of well being and functioned pretty well, libido started to die out and was gone by 19 and it hasn't been much fun since, also my cognitive functioning definitely took a nose dive, so the symptoms of low -T for me
No sex drive
Loss of sense of well being
Depressed mood
Spare pubic and body hair.
Still waiting on my free-T results to come back so still could be low I don't know yet, just going to have to try and convince the endo for a therapeutic trial to see if it relieves the symptoms, if it works it works if it doesn't then the trial is over but I doubt the endo will even commit to this
If 10-35nmol is the normal range are my levels of 5.8-30.1 nmol not already low?

do you mean you have been suffering from depression since you were 15yrs old? maybe you should treat the depression directly first, and maybe your libido may come back when you're not depressed. seen a shrink? i would surely take prozac for depression, instead of testosterone. esp when my test level is normal(high-ish, actually)

Happy days, found a specialist and an actual advocate of TRT here in Ireland, never thought that would happen.

Remember there is a range that is "normal" that can go from "low normal" to "high normal". Try to get your endo to get your levels to the "high normal" for a couple of months. Then you can decide if TRT works for you.

i am assuming your test level is in nmol/L. the usual range is between 8-28. if your reading is 21.2, it is definitely nearer to the top limit than the lower limit. for older men, treatment should only be started if close to or below 10nmol/L. but for a young chap like you, maybe your doctor may think differently.

just as an option, if you really get trt and still feel depressed, maybe you can look into depression treatment specifically.

From everything Iv found online in nmol 10-35 seems to be the normal range could be wrong though
