If you are trying to cut it is not the best idea It is ful of sugar. The video you saw of ronnie on duty was more than likely him bulking. He was eating a ton of chicken covered in barbecue sauce. YOu can use it on occassion but i would not make it something to top many foods
ok koo thanks
BBQ sauce is RIDICULOUSLY high in sugar, you'd be surprised - check the label one day. To make matters worse, it's usually HFCS. Try and find a low sugar/sugar free variety which obviously won't taste as good, but if you can handle it would be the way to go while cutting.
My Personal BBQ sauce recipe I use for all my chicken.
Ingredients
• 2 cups cider vinegar
• 1 cup tomato Paste
• ½ cup hot sauce
• 2 tablespoons salt
• 2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
• 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
• Cooking Directions
In a stockpot over medium heat, combine the vinegar, Tom paste, and hot sauce. Stir together. Pour in all the remaining ingredients and stir to dissolve. Do not boil. When the spices are thoroughly dissolved, take the pot off the heat, and funnel the sauce into a bottle. The sauce will keep, refrigerated, for up to 1 year.
I also have BBQ sauce for Brisket and lamb, Pork, as well a rub recipes for all. Let me know if you want those as well. Only the pork sauce is high in sugar.
