Right nipple is very sore

I started my TRT 10 days ago 50mg Testo-Gel per day and 75mg Test Cyp twice a week. Today my right nipple has been erect and stinging. I have felt around and underneath but no signs of any pea lumps forming which I always was scared of when I used to abuse Dianabol in my 20's but never had any troubles.

Any ideas?

Waiting on my Arimidex to arrive bud and cant get any HCG. I Started my Cyp 6 days ago at 75mg per shot via SQ. Been doing my Testo-Gel daily for the past 10 days, 50mg daily. Just had a look and my right nipple is not erect anymore it is very sore though, stinging kind of feeling?

Sounds like high estrogen, get on that adex as soon as you can!

Thanks guys.....As soon as it arrives (Hopefully tomorrow) I will take 0.5mg. At such a dose like 0.5mg will I get any side effects from it, never used an AI before.

Brick, did you have labs taken before going on? If not, I think you need a quick E2 sensitive score to know what you're up against.

Also, not sure why you're stacking testo-gel and cyp together in your protocol? Maybe that's another discussion for another day.

I had my Test levels done Vet and they came back as very low. I went to see a Urologist who prescribed my Testo-Gel. He said my Test levels were low but did not check my E2 levels as he said I did not need further blood tests. He said that my abuse of AAS from 18 till early 30's are what have caused me to shut down. Me being me did a fair bit of research on Testo-Gel and found out it is not that effective and only 7% is absorbed so I decided to self medicate by adding/using Cyp' at 75mg twice a week. The Urologist I saw said he does not prescribe injections as he has found them to be ineffective, I have found out since that is not the case for TRT but I am in the UK and going through the NHS so they try and make many cut backs as they can. I have to say though that my confidence has raised a touch since starting TRT and energy levels have gone up, sex drive is still low and still no erections although it is early days. I have never used straight Test before so I think my E2 levels have risen along with the Test thus giving me the sore nipple? I hope the AI will put a stop to this and prevent any gyno.

You can use a little Nolvadex to mitigate the sensitivity, but I think it's kind of crucial to know your E2 lab before you start medicating with the AI. I would also suggest returning for a full set of labs in 6 weeks to see the progress, which you can make adjustments to the dosage protocol from there.

Just wanting to make sure you have a successful program.

Brick, listen to Vette. Also, if and when you start adex I highly recommend starting at the lowest possible dose, maybe .25 x 2 a week. Then titrate your dosage based on bloodwork. I'm really not a believer anymore in the 1mg AI a week per 100mg cyp. Every "body" is different.

i agree as well, i am on 120 mgs ew and take 1 mg AI ew, its working beautifully. however the 1 mg AI per 100 mgs test is the general rule, at least a starting point!

I recently cut back to .5 mg AI on 2X week of 60 mg Test Cyp...and guess what...I feel better and have better erection quality.

My E2 has been in 22 - 23 range for the past two years and while that seems damn near ideal in the back of my mind I thought it boarder line low.

So I went .5 mg AI weekly and guess what?

No high E2 symptoms, better erection quality and overall better sense of well being.

I won't know till next BW where I stand but my Doc was on board and we spoke the other day and he said "stick with it".

gel works fine for millions of ppl , low absorption is not an issue , this is why (as an example) tostran 1.62 % contains 20mg test per 1g.
take a look at the bnf for the prices of the various gels , they are a hell ( and i mean alot) higher price than shots, this has nothing to do with moneysaving, its actually costing more to treat you with gel.
the reason the endo told you no shots is because of your history of steriod abuse , you have proven him right straight off the bat.
ive said before, what you are doing is some sort of half assed cycle, taking 50mg day gel and 150mg week test injection is gonna be way above any hrt protocol , you will have no endo support as soon as he sees your bloods.
you are going to have high est problems due to the above , you have no endo support to monitor this so will have to pay for both the tests needed ( it aint gonna be just one ) plus your test injections you have added , these costs are for the rest of your life.
i get the impression that adding an a.i in itself can be a balancing act , i predict your next post will be about the symptoms you are getting from an estro crash when you guess how much adex you need.
i know this sounds harsh but you really need to back off your own protocol and stick with just the endos gel until you find out how much gel you need to get stable, then you will have an idea how much test you need per week and can disguss shots with him ( you really need the endos support regarding bloodwork) , not just for test and estrogen but many other things like hematocrit and liver function tests.

He said there is no need to measure my E2 levels and will not blood test me for it. He said my next blood test is in 15 weeks and I started TRT 11 days ago. He also said if my levels are good then I do not need to continue with TRT. I then asked about using something like Clomid to save me from crashing if he stops me suddenly from Test, he said he does not use that and once my levels are higher than now then they will stay like that?

BTW Brick, the only sides I've gotten from taking too much Adex is lower back pain and messed my lipid a bit, but thats when i was on 0.5 mg ed.

estrogen=estro , im using too many abvs :P , low estrogen can/will give you some nasty sides (ive seen posts on here asking how to get it back up from taking too much a.i ) , thats why it needs to be monitored , every one is different on what dosage is needed , to do it properly you cant guess it .
you endo wont monitor estrogen because for the protocol he has set you (gel only) you would not need it.

as for the other stuff about 'not needing' trt after so long , that just means that you have one of the many misinformed /not up on trt endos in this country , i'll be honest (as usual , i know it sounds offensive to some ppl but its because ive had so much bullshit in my life this is how i am now , too straight talking ive been told :P) , this endo is just trying to get rid of you because of you asking for multiple tests/ injections /bloodwork before he even had chance to look at your bloods after using gel for 3 months.

*key in this country is verification , if you take hrt for X time and it helps you and then the euro stops it, go back to your GP and you have the evidence to back yourself up and get referred to another.
its slow process and can be very frustrating in this system , unfortunately you have to stick with it to get anywhere.
