Who here actually follow's their diet?

And be real, do you wake up early make all your food and do all that stuff, put it into little containers and of to work?
Do you wake up middle of the night to take your shake and pills?
Or do you just try to eat when you can and the right way you can

When i started my cut i started following my diet exactly. I never miss meals and hardly ever have cheat meals. I have never woken up in the middle of the night for shakes, i prefer using a slow release before bed. My food is in containers in the fridge and i cook about once a week. A couple pounds of chicken, broccoli, rice, sweet potatoes, beef, etc. I cook egg whites every morning and only use shakes pwo. I dont find it hard to stick to it especially when i have a goal. So far it has worked pretty well with around 45 pounds lost

I do 90% of the time, but real life shit is more important to dieting (Education, Work, Family, Relationship), so there's always times where my diet will slip up a little bit, but it's always for legitimate reasons.

I cheat once a week and that's it. Follow my diet strictly 100% the rest of the time. Wake up early to make sure I have enough time to eat everything before I have to leave for work because my breakfast is quite big. Other than that all my other meals are prepared on Sunday for the week and frozen. Except dinner but I have plenty of time to prepare and eat that each night.

People always ask me how do u keep eating chicken, rice etc etc... Well dieting strictly has got to do with one thing! 'how bad do u want it' and I want it bad so I'm strict!

I never mess up a calorie deficit. I live alone so I just dont buy any cheat food during that period of time. The only time I may mess up is bulking when I miss my protein quota, drink soda, or eat garbage.

Considering I'm dieting for a bodybuilding show my diet is 100% spot on. When I'm not dieting my diet is still very good but you need to enjoy some good food.

Ok this is what I ate today

    6 eggs 3 yolks
    Cup of Oatmeal

    Went straight to the gym
PO WO Protein shake w\yogurt and peanut butter

Tuna Salad in a Bed of Spinach

    Went back to the gym
    Pinned 3iu Gh

Chipotle Bowl, brown rice, steak, black beans, cheese and sour cream
1\2 Serving of True Mass after cause I still felt hungry.

Dinner will be Fish and sweet potato fries,

This diet sucks but gets me by right now since I'm not on cycle and
maintains my weight btw 193-198lbs and 12% and my appetite is not the highest right now.
Weekends I eat at least 1-2 gourmet lounge burgers at burgerlounge.

When I was cuttin down some I was strict on what and when I ate..... mostly the same food all day.... everyday. I have to eat the same shit all the time to stay strict.

When I'm not cutting I try to eat the best I can..... I'm a little more leniant ofcoarse..... But i ALWAYS try to get in the carbs and protein to maintain my size. My biggest problem isn't what I eat..... It's finding the time to eat. If my job would allow me to eat consistantly.... i'd be much better off. However.... even if I cook my food ahead of time and tupperware it..... it still doesn't mean I can eat it lol.

Thats how i am. I find it hard to stay on track when cutting if i dont just follow the same meals. It gets boring but it works. When it comes to bulking i dont worry as much as the little things dont make as big of a difference for me such as cheat meals

I'm glad i'm not the only one LMAO! My meal of choice.....

Pan fried ground chicken over brown rice. Easy to cook.... especially ahead of time.... and it tastes great. I just limit the rice when I'm cutting.

Breakfast is 1/2c oatmeal with eggwhites.

If I bulk.... I can eat the same foods.... just more of it.

This may not be ideal for doing a show.... but it certainly works for summer time haha

    You must be GH15.

I am pretty good about my diet. I don't wake up in the middle of the day to have a shake though. I also prefer the taste of healthy foods over greasy fried ones. I bought one of those set it and forget it rotissaries. best investment I ever made.

You know somebody probably would make a killing if they ran a business that mailed freezed full meals made for the athlete's specific nutritional goals and made them at a competitive price.

I don't have the capital to start that, but I'd definitely be a customer.

We have a small scale local one here that does it. The guys go out, buy in bulk and literally cook for hours then sell premade, boxed foods for the week dependent on your goals. They make great money off of it being in a college town especially heading into spring break

When cutting I follow it exactely, but starting to bulk now so last couple weeks I have been alot more liberal.

I still eat clean but its not a set meal anymore except for breakfast and pre workout, just set macros to try follow for each meal

We have a local company here too that makes meals and freezes them. All the macros are listed so you can choose from 10 different meals but you can't design your own. The meals are $10ea.....

Haha, the only reason I am getting away with this is cause of the GH, when I come off it in a month two you are going to see a lot more of me in the diet section scrambling to fix my shitty diet. But hey, no one can say I didn't know how to eat well

We're both extremely strict with our diets...Will have a cheat meal maybe once a month. Maybe. I cook in bulk and then every morning do the last minute cooking for stuff like egg whites and saute the vegetables and make his protein shake etc...

Bulk or Cut. I follow my diet 100% spot on everyday. As BrownGirl said...we might do a cheat meal 1 a month...if even that. People make it seem like it's hard, but it's quite simple. It's just a matter of preparing in advance.

That beings said...BrownGirl and I are pretty boring and rarely go out except for Holiday's or when friends and family come to Vegas and we get stuck being tour guides. So our lack of a social life helps a lot in staying on track.

I do 95 % of the time; 5 % being the percentage of eating more than my targeted calories for the day but they are always from nutritional sources, I have a problem with eating protein powder dry with a spoon haha. Sometimes I do go off track and eat nutrigrain or cereal bars but then I think of the insulin spike that will be caused and how I will instantly get fat (even if I don't) and I will have to go on the treadmill (I hate the treadmill) .. I do not allow myself to go to bed without packing my meals, packing my vitamins, packing my gym bag and laying out my work clothes... I am a control freak but I guess that’s what works for me…

When I read some of the diets in the nutrition forum I often wonder how many people REALLY eat 2 cans of tuna every single day. I'd bet there are a lot of substitutions that end up getting off track after a while.
