Just curious, more specifically the Portland area.
Just curious, more specifically the Portland area.
Howdy neighbor. No not Oregon but your Northern Neighbor, Seattle. I get up there though a couple times a year to the Oregon Dunes to go quadding though.![]()
Yeah I went up to Seattle for the Duck game vs. the Huskies. Had a blast, probably partied a little too hard though.
If you made it home OK and no permanent damage then it's not to hard.
It's funny how most people view their own home town. I would never go to Seattle to party. I have been to a few of the clubs/bars down town but it never seemed very FUN. Now I have go to Portland with friends and had a blast. It's just the grass is always greener syndrome.
Do you play at the dunes or coast? I have also taken the jet skis out to Tilimook. That is a COOL light house out there. I tried to find a good place to tie up but there isnt.![]()
I haven't been out to play golf. Never really picked it up but my friends do. If you get a chance head to Sunriver or Black Butte in the Bend area, and it is beautiful. Yeah I went to Seattle for the football game and just basically hit all the campus bars, didn't see a lot of hotties out so I dunno whats up with that, but I don't think I would ever want to live in Seattle. You should pm me when you head to Portland to go to the bars, I love the 2nd street bars and Spyce lol.
I'm in Eastern Washington but thinking about a little vaca to p-town on the bike this summer.

One of our original investors decided to buy a bar in Portland and asked my buddy and I to come out there, overhaul the bar, retrain the staff, and get this place in the right direction. Ultimately we were trying to fix his current bar before we opened one with him on Bourbon St. Long story short, wasn't a sound investment n we declined the offer to open the new bar.
The bar we remodeled in portland was Fusion Lounge. Shortly after we left the owners turned the bar in to a strip club since that was their specialty originally and renamed it Spyce.
Ramacher- Do you know the owner of Spyce? It still Tracy D.?
Is DJ Jon Gordon still the resident dj? that guy use to tear sh*t up
Man I loved spending time out there. Portland's bar scene was unreal.

Is Tracy D. bald and still the original owner? I believe he is still there because it has been the same owners since the beginning. The DJ I don't know personally but he was the same one there since I have been going there (4 years now). Yeah always have a good time there.

Ya.. fat, bald, middle-age guy, wife was/is a stripper. If you see a 40yr redhead who looks like she's been run over a few times it may be her.Originally Posted by ramacher
Dj jon is bald, med height, skinny, late 30's maybe, used to be Paul Oakenfold's tour dj. He used to be unreal on the turntables.
A lot could have changed since we were out there.. it's been a few yrs now.. but sounds like we're talkin about the same owner n dj.

Just left Portland yesterday for Seattle. Down right cold here with the wind!
Yeah Oregon is crummy weather. You live in Oregon because it is a lifestyle choice, not an economic choice. Too many f*cking liberals running our state into the ground.
I work in Portland nearly every day. Looking forward to meeting folks around this forum. Seems like a cool place.
