    Meat and Nut breakfast

    Have any of you heard of the "Meat and Nut breakfast"? Im a big believer in most of charles poliquins training methods because I use them with my clients but his nutrition plans are a little out there! But! I have tried his meat and Nut breakfast the last couple days and I have to say I feel great in the morning! No carb crash, Im in a great mood! massive energy rush! check it out.

    I eat chicken and almonds several times a day. I don't get a big rush or feel any different then when I eat it for breakfast in place of egg whites and oatmeal. I eat a low carb diet and can certainly use some carbs in the morning and at lunch.

    I find when I eat a large amount of carbs early in the morning or any time of the day for the matter Im tired and feel bogged down! But this breakfast gives me a good boost and steady energy!

    today I have:

    2 Large home made turkey meat balls
    1/2 cup Raw cashews

    2 pork chops
    1 cup green beans
    1/2 of a cucumber
    1/3 cup pecans

    1 chicken leg with skin left on
    1 cup carrots
    1/2 cup pecans

    10g BCAA'S pre workout

    Post workout:
    2 scoops whey/1/2 Banana/1 cup pineapple/1 cup blue berries
    1 cup (200g) sweet potato

    Before bed
    4 Eggs
    30g chesse
    1 cup veggies


    Man do I feel great! really the only time I take in carbs is post workout...about 100g and the rest of the day Im feeling good!

    I also find I dont feel the need to eat as often or get cravings...before I would eat 6-7 meals a day and still want more! this week on the new diet eat less but more calories.

    The one down side I find is its hard to eat out or with other people because most people cook very high carb meals!

    this is not new news

    im doing it atm and its working extremly well.

    i have mates that swear by this as well.

    cant get any better to waking up and smashing at streak at 630 am

    I didnt say it was new news I was just asking how everyone feels about it? Seems like most guys are either very against it or very on bored with it....guess it really depends on the person and how their body handles carbs.

    It makes more sens to eat a steak at 7:00 in the morning then it does at 7:00pm....your body handles it much better and its a great way to break the fast you just went though from sleeping for 8 hours, it also kick start your metabolism, levels off your blood sugars, and boost neurotransmitters in the brain (carbs can actually lower them).

    I find it tough to eat a steak personally at 7:00am so instead I make healthy meat balls with lean free range beed or turky burger and have pecans or some kind of fat....goes down easy!
