    Chest training routine...

    My history teacher used to be a beast and still is. He went d1 for football hes abouut 39 or suminn...he told me to do my whole chest exercise like this....

    55lbs-12 reps
    60lbs-12 reps
    65lbs-12 reps
    70lbs-12 reps
    75-lbs 12 eeps
    80lbs-12 reps
    85lbs-12 reps
    90lbs-12 reps
    95lb-reps

    Etc etc...just start at likeeee the 70lbs dumbells and work to the 95/100s...and shoot for 12 no stopping....what do yal think? He knows his stuff...

    Dumb.

    It is really stupid to try a routine that someone else used and apply it to yourself. Not only are your body's different, but that does not seem like a logical way of working out your chest. Just for reference, my chest routine looks like this:

    Decline DB Press
    Incline DB Press
    DB Flyes
    Cable Crossovers

    The reps and sets range, depending on what I am doing. I, personally, love the Dorian Yates style. I do 2 sets of warm up with a lighter weight, than hit 1 set all out until failure. I then do past failure, forced reps, etc. I don't quite see the logic in the program you listed above.

    That routine is more geared towards an endurance workout. It doesn't seem like a routine I would do every week, week in and week out.

    Just something reccomended by my teacher to shock
    Muscle and use once everycouple weeks. My chest training is exactly like yours im not an idiot lol!! Jus was seein what any1 thoght about it. Thanks tho man

    Never thought you were an idiot. In your OP you never stated that this would be used once every couple weeks. All I read was "chest training routine"

    O yea my bad for not being clear on that. The only reason im considering it is because the guy that did it swears by it. But honesty its not for
    Me to much volume im not an olympic swimmer hahah. I
    May give it a try...
