Hypothetically speaking, if when I inject my glutes I use a 1" .22 gauge needle tonight and I felt no pain at all. Lets say I didn't get all the way in the muscle and possibly injected into the fat would the steroids still be absorbed?

It would be absorbed at a slower rate.

most use 1.5" pins i use 1" and luv it. it depends on bf & size in that area, chances are there was no pain right then and there but you should feel it in the morning!! in any case YES it would still absorb..

I guess it's too late to offer this now, but for future reference it's always important to massage the injection site heavily, spreading the oil as much as possible. This will aid in absorption, assuming that you don't do this already of course.
