I asked the same question when starting out.
Are you on TRT ? it might be acceptable to those that are, but for us who self regulate its a big No No.
I did it 1x and caught Hep B.
Make sure your attendant changes gloves between patients.![]()
^ ^ ^ ^
yeah true enough, unless there was a number of people claiming same thing then you prob wouldnt have a leg to stand on
Gee hep B! thats unlucky man sorry to hear that!
MRFO320 why is a big nono? Im not on TRT but that same doc does give out test (dont ask) he told me to go and do it so i cant see why its a big nono
Yeah that would be nice but it was 20 years ago and it was bad enough. Doc said he had never seen anyone with blood count as bad as mine who lived. Went from 165lbs, working out 5x a week for years down to 120 in 2 weeks.
I took me several years before I put 2x2 together. It also took years to recover. I dont think I ever have 100%, never got my energy back to where it was. I know there was/is no other possibility though of how I got it. One day not long ago it just popped into my head I remember saying during giving blood to the guy next to me, Isnt he supposed to be changing gloves between patients?
Ouch sounds rough, but here sounds like you lucky to recover, mabey not 100% but as doc said. . . . so congrads
there was major scandal here about 10-15 years ago im told, similar suitation as yours but we talking like 100people caught hep c, long story short they traced it back to a hospital and they all got major $$$$$
not much good though if your riddled with jaundice. . . . . . .
hey u been round thailand alot havent you, actually do you live there? are you sure it was from the blood clinic hahaha
LOL, it was LONG before I went to Thailand for the first time. NO, I dont live there. If I did I would not be frequenting this forum very often and it would be difficult to concentrate on working out if you know what I mean.
yeah but you wouldnt have to worry about cardio im sure that would be well taken care of. . . . .
It was just what a few vets told me on here when I first stated out, and wanted to give blood to do my bit you see, but it has something to do with the questionaire at the beginning, people who have injected drugs should NEVER give blood.
http://www.blood.co.uk/can-i-give-bl...nt-give-blood/
They're referring to people who reuse & share needles. And rec drug users too. Don't volunteer them any information though. Think of it like this, they're going to test the blood to make sure it's safe to put in the blood supply. If your stuff is no good, they'll just dispose of it. So if they ask if you use gear, deny it. Just make sure they change their gloves and use fresh needles on you.
The questionare also asks if you use or have used steroids or hgh..... I said no because I needed to give blood. Hell.... my doc says to say no so I can donate.....
I also have the super rare blood type so they always take me first over everyone else in there.

I give a pint every 60 days and it keeps my Hemoglobin at a nice safe level. Just make sure you go to a professional establishment and not some dirty corner blood bank thats givin 20 buks a pint with a line out the door lol...I go to this place called Lifestream and they're very clean and professional. You even get an ID card.

If you donate, also make sure you eat properly before giving blood and drink plenty of fluids. It takes roughly 12 to 20 minutes from what I experienced.
I started donating after a year on TRT. RBC, hematocrit and platelets were all high.
Blood work doesn't lie. If you don't believe your doctor's advice, have the test done and see what your levels are.
What Do you say to your Doc for to get a blood test do u not need some reason.?
for trt and blast-n-cruise, cos the AAS is always in the body, blood counts may be continuously high. but for safe cycles with suitable off periods, i suspect the blood counts will have time to return to normal
