If I Could Go Back These Would Be The 5 Things I Would Change

Yesterday I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep, of course I couldn't so I just started thinking. I dont know how I got to this topic but If I could go back 2 years knowing what I know now these would be the 5 things I would change. (in no particular order)

    1. I would have focused a lot more on school and took it more seriously instead of messing around with my friends, chasing girls, and getting in trouble.
    2. I would have never cheated on the only girl I ever had feelings for and the only girl I ever loved.
    3. I would have gotten my diet and training routine in order and been a monster by now.
    4. I would have gone to that party with my best friend and mentor that night and stopped him from drinking so much and getting in a car with a drunk driver....R.I.P.
    5. I would have spent a lot more time with my parents.

Life goes on and you rarely get a second chance but If I could I would gladly change these things and my life would probably be completely different but I regret nothing and am vary happy with my life as it is. Feel free to share.

I've got my regrets too... All I need to do is go back 48 hours with the winning lotto numbers. That'd pretty much fix everything I can think of.

going back 2 years not to much if i could go back longer.
i wouldnt have moved to Florida, i would be close to my wife.
i would have not written off an ex after we broke up. She ended up killing herself
did some things different with my wife so we didnt get separated in the 1st place

everyone say not wasted alot of money on going out. But i wish i had the money back but i have a ton of memories and experiences i wouldnt want to give up. and i wouldnt be the same person if i didnt have that life

Toef I am going to steal a you first one cause I feel the exact same.
    1. I would have focused a lot more on school and took it more seriously instead of messing around with my friends, chasing girls, and getting in trouble.
    2. I would have not bought so many motocycles and cars in my life. Wasted so much time and money on that.
    3. I would have never gotten married only to get divorced a yea later.
    4. I would have never moved to LA when I had a solid GF at the time
    5. I would have gone to a better college and tried harder.
    6. I should have left the US and traveled for a few years to Asia, Europe and South America after I got back from Iraq.

But all of these decisions lead me to where I am now. And right now I have the hottest gf of my life, live in the most beautiful city in America, I have the best friends of my life, and a good job and my parents and I are closer now than we have ever been..so I was born and this is who I am. I still have regrets, but I try to look at all the positives I have and look onward and upward.

What I would give to be 21 again...then I would only be a year old than my gf instead on 9...but then it would not be as interesting.

A great way to buy a car is get a nice one 3 years old...like cherry..takes a while to find it but you can
Then you drive it till you pay it off. But after you pay it off start saving that money you would be paying on the car payment for a new car.
Once you have about 10k saved..trade in the car plus the cash and do it again. Keeps me in nice cars..
Why is working out keeping you broke?

I have never had a bar tab more than $100 bucks, never liked drinking that much. Cause it returns me nothing..
But then I probably missed out on all the good times I probably could have had.

foods a lot more money in canada then the states and i dont really make a ton of money. and im putting a lot into savings so my spending money goes to working out i dont consider my savings as in my money

i also have a seadoo right now too lol and a 800$ remote control car

what im getting at with the r/c car thing is i dont buy little things i buy big. usually im doing good saving then ill go buy something big lol

100 wont last me long alone by the time you tip.

figure $200 on dinner, $400-$500 if you get a table at a bar. So your at $700 not including little other shit. It adds up fast.
5 or us went to vegas. we spent $36,000 in 4 days with no gambling

Similar Vegas story. Several years ago went out there with 5 of my best friends for a bachelor party. I got on the plane (private jet that I didn't pay for) with $5k in my pockets. Got back home with a hundred bucks and a $2k Amex bill. I wouldn't trade those 4 days or take them back for anything.

Damn, mine's $75 on a 10 year old Tacoma, which I thought was cheap! Curiously, it's even less out in LA where I'll be returning to in June, but it still ain't $56! What do you have?

I have USAA too, mine's $76... Totally clean record, 10 yr. old truck, 10K miles/year etc. Wonder if I need to call them and have them look at my policy again?

Yeah USAA has amazing insurance not only for auto but for homeowners and life as well. They even have savings accounts and CD's that earn almost double the interest rates of private institutions. Hell, it's subsidized by the federal gov't so why wouldn't it be over funded and be doing business at a loss?
