New guy needs info

Hi! I'm 38 and just got the lab results of my first testosterone levels test. 263 total and 54 free. Doctor prescribed Testim gel so I started looking into it. I have twin 2 year olds and a 5 year old at home and after reading the warning about transferring the gel to women and children I'm not really cool with using it. I called and asked my doctor if I could get injectables and they said only "alternative medicine" doctors can give it and it's probably not covered by my insurance. I don't believe this. I'm in NJ. Is this true?

Hey man welcome ..not really the place to ask questions like this but I will say that I am 48 and in the same boat as you..and no I would not use that product around anyone but mature males....not really sure what they are thinking when they prescribe that gel. imo not worth the risk...I would post this in the forum section though as they do not like help questions here in this section.
