New Member Ready to take physique to the next level

    Hi everyone.

I've been working out for many years and wasted a lot of money on gimmicks and supplements. I've known for years that they did not do anything, but they were legal and I was hopeful. I was trying to come to acceptance that THIS was as good as I could get. I went to the Arnold Classic for the first time, a couple of weeks ago, and realized that I could not make due with mediocrity for the rest of my life. This site seems serious and informative. I am here to learn as much as I can, and hopefully eventually achieve the look I've always wanted.

    PD

Thanks for the welcome, fellas. I'm clearly obsessed with muscle and developing my physique, and it is intolerably frustrating trying to achieve the impossible with gimmicky supplements.

My girlfriend doesn't understand my obsession and says she doesn't want me to be any bigger, or more muscular. Yet just as fanatically as me obsesses about how skinny this actress is or that model is. I told her we both have obsessions but with completely opposite objectives. She dragged me out shopping with her today, and there was some muscular dude out with his girlfriend, and I was pissed off, because I've probably worked out a lot harder in my lifetime than he has, but because of my genetics, I could never look like that.

Really need help, guys. I'm an all or nothing type guy. My girlfriend is trying to get me to be happy with just being fit, but that's not who I am. I need muscle, a lot of muscle. I'm cursed with being 6' 3'' and without a bodybuilder's body.
