If you are on probation the using any Class 4 drug would be unwise, but no they normally do not test for it. However if your crime was steroids related then yes. If they suspect you are using steroids then yes. I am in no way saying they definitely will not test for it though. It is your freedom so it is also your chance. Just remember if they ever did test you for it, most states do have internal possession laws. Meaning if it in your body they can still charge you with the felony. I know this for a fact in New Hampshire because I have seen it done for people popping hot on illegal drugs when we have urine tested them.
