Its a prequel to the movie, yes this is the beginning. Same director, same planet as the first movie, same spaceship they found wrecked in the first one. You can see all the alien pods on the ground

Yeah, its not actually about the aliens series you are used to. If you can recall, in the very first Alien movie they found those eggs, from which the face huggers came, in a big extraterestrial crashed ship. On the helm or steering wheel there was another type of alien mumified, big in stature. Its about that race of aliens.

I really like the alien quadrology. AvP are also ok, but not as good as the originals in my opinion.

All I can say is, thank fvck, fvcking Predator is gone and Ridley Scott is back!

The film is set 30 years before the events that take place in the first Alien movie and will reveal about who the Space Jockey was and the possible origins of the Alien.

This film is going to be epic.
