help!!! i want to make the most of this!!!

last week i was diagnosed with low test...ive been dealing with this since i was 22. most of my 20's were spent being unconfident, out of shape and ignored by the women i REALLY desired. im 33 and ready to start living again! i want to make the most of this. im gonna start working out and tomorrow im picking up my Rx injectable test cypionate. my Rx says to take 50mg a month which seems pretty weak.im probably going to double that and then tell my doc that i feel great(if i do of course!!!) and see if i can get my dose up. can anyone suggest what dose i should be shooting for to achieve good results in the gym. ill be reading the forums to try to figure this out myself but i could use a point in the right direction. im not just looking for TRT...if im gonna take Rx steroids i want the obvious benefits as well. thanks everyone

are you sure its 50mg a month? Test doesnt last 1 month in your system so it will be really ineffective. If this is what your dr is prescribing i would find another dr.
I would not self medicate your dosages at this point. You are going to need follow up bloodwork for all different things. Messing with your dose is only going to mess up other things and possibly your script also. Work with a Dr who knows trt and get everything sorted out. It may take months. You will see a big improvement from just getting on correct trt.
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Go see an endo, even though some are still not up to par.. You will need at least 100mg a week of test to start and adjust according to blood work

the prescribed dose must have been based on your last bloodworks. you got a copy of that?

they wouldnt dose of your bloodwork. once you take steroids your natural is shut down. so it doesnt matter what his test level was before hand.

im positive. Rx says "inject 0.25 milliliter (50 mg) by intramuscular route every 4 weeks" from what ive read so far thats NOTHING and it sounds like you agree. i cant really go to another doctor because my job doesnt have bene's so i dont have health insurance. and this is the only clinic in town for un-insured people. this doc isnt an endo or uro and i dont trust doctors anyway(i went to a doctor 5 years ago with these problems and instead of helping me get to the bottom of it and all he did was prescribe me vi*gra to line his pockets...which wasnt even my problem)so i feel like im gonna have to do the homework myself. i cant live this way anymore. i really want to make some positive changes but i dont have many choices...thanks.

p.s. i rode an r6 before i wrecked it and always wanted gsxr 750...

btw...i dont want to be a bodybuilder or anything. i just want to sleep with better looking women and feel confident like i did when i was 19...i know that seems lame but thats my real goal...

I agree, go see an endo. I'm 27 w/prolactinoma, a growth on my pituitary gland is increasing my prolactin levels and lowering my natty test levels to 180. I'm getting 1 injection of Test E 200 (1.5 total of 300) every 2 weeks. My levels so far have not dropped below the 180 mark, but without an MRI and extensive bloodwork I would not know this. Still currently waiting on a urine test for who knows what, and my bone density came back fine. I understand not having insurance,it sucks, but fight for what ya gotta do. My girl has cancer and even jumped cities to get an endo that would take her insurance. Just try and ask questions. Don't give up. Endo's fill up fast here in the U.S. because of many people with diabeties. Even took me some work and I have good insurance.

the only time i saw such a low dose used correctly was on a tranny. don't be mad at me for asking... did you have any life-changing surgery in the past?

if not.... and if you trust advice that you get from strangers over the internet.... you can safely use that dose every wk, instead of per month. and next month, you may even double it.

but your doc may not have given you the full picture. any treatment can only be correctly prescribed if you have a clear and definite diagnosis. and how does one arrive at a diagnosis? based on the bloodworks of cos. thats why not only is the blood works impt, it is CRUCIAL to understand what you are suffering from, and to target the correct treatment regime.

looking at the unusual dose that your doc gave, i suspect we're not dealing with a straightforward TRT case.

another reason i thought of..50mg a month is such a negligible dose that it may not even shut you down. the dr may (MAY) be just testing you with a placebo dose to see if your symptoms go away spontaneously.

anyway. as requested. last word out.

    good luck

That's just crazy as everyone said. It would make more sense (but still not right) if you were a woman and had low T but for a guy thats literally nothing.

My TRT dose has been .75ml - 1.00ml per week for several years. .75 I'm still on the lower 1/2 of the panel.

    200mg per 1ml.

    Not kidding just a typical typo. I corrected the above. It's 200mg per 1ml and I do between .75 - 1.00ml per week 150mg - 200mg per week.

    Sorry for the typo above.

It's Test Enanthalate 200 1.5ml inj/2weeks. Could just say Test Enanthalate 300 injected every 2 weeks. Sorry for making it sound confusing.
