    Anyone here into G-Shocks?

Well I am a pretty big watch fanatic. I own a few Breitlings, but was looking to purchase a G-shock for gym/outdoor use. Any suggestions from any of you that own one?

Saw that one coming a mile away. lol
I have not wore a watch in 30 years. Every watch I had died after a few week a few minute before or after 12 pm lol
I stick with a cell phone. Ive never been into jewelry. I have a few very nice 22K gold neclaces I was given as gifts but I just done feel comfortable wearing bling.

gshocks are cool. a lot of phonies out so be careful. even thought they are not too expensive, esp when comparing to breitlings. I have one of those bad boys, i saved for a long time to get that mickiefickie to. and dont even wear it except for on special occasions now.

I wore g-shocks throughout my military service. Pretty durable watches. Like Jpowell said though, I see fakes at almost every mall I go to.

They also tell the date. Jk. Its like a car. Theres Mercedes and theres Ford. They both get you places, but the mercedes is a better experience.
With a watch, you are paying for fine craftsmanship and quality. A Breitling always outlives its owner.

These things are meant for flash, same reason reason I bought mine. In terms of value, a kmart brand will do as it tells time. I still dont regret the $$ i spent on it.

I tend to lean towrds American sport cars like corvette or camaro. Way less repairs than the BMW. BMW is known for its reputation,"Its in the shop more than it is in the garage"

G-Shocks are great outdoor/workout watches. Another brand to look at is Suunto. My brother bought me a Suunto Core for Christmas and it has become my gym/camping/kick around watch. It's got a large face and is still super comfortable. It also has some cool features like an altimeter and barometer. It's cool to check out how many vertical feet you drop when snowboarding.
