    Cardio or no cardio?

    I'm 112lbs female, 5"4. Im tryin to gain good lean muscle, so I started my first var cycle. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I do back/bis/abs, chest/tris, legs/glutes, shoulders/abs. I usually do HITT for 20-30 min 2-3 times a week. Im still having trouble gaining. If my diet is on point, should I be doing cardio at all? I have trouble gaining!

    i would do a little cardio, hiit for 20-30 2-3x/week looks good. I would just eat more

    Thanks! I eat about 150 grams of protein and 200 grams of carbs per day. Im guessing i should probably up my carbs. How much u think I should be aiming for??

    At 112lbs, you are already eating plenty of protein and carbs. I doubt the reason why you are not gaining as quickly as you want to is directly related to your diet.

    Are you taking enough time off and getting enough sleep to really grow?

    Keep doing cardio and up the carbs until you see your weight going up

    cardio is key in any walk of life imo
