21 year old - update on my "false positive" bw

so im the kid who mistakenly took gear as a teenager, im 21 now, got bloodwork done last year but i was on switfos gyno reversal protocol which was taking letro than nolva, i finished the nolva 4 days before my bloodwork was taken (foolish, i know, i thought a couple days would be enough to stabilize my test levels) but here are the results from last years blood test which some said earlier was a "false positive" bloodwork

    testosterone , total 869 reference range 250-1100

    testosterone, free 256.8 reference range 35.0 - 155.0

    LH, 13.2 reference range 1.5- 9.3

    estradiol, 41 reference range 13-54

    TSH 2.73 reference range 0.50 - 6.00

i did not touch gear 2 years before this and was having and still have the typical symptoms, no sex drive, no energy and so on
so i went to one of these HRT clinics today and told them about my test results but i told them about taking nolva up 4 days prior and they said that wouldnt affect my test levels that much

i was told by multiple members on this board that it could have significantly altered my results, one member even said by 350%?

just trying to find out the truth, because i got re tested today at the clinic for my total test and im curios to see who is right or wrong on the issue of how much the nolva affected my original bloodwork.

Just dont freak out? Are you implying that my test levels will come back low?

    Bump.

Just curious as to what you guys think my test levels are and if nolva could have really affect it by 350%. I hope my test levels come back low so i can feel normal again!

At the very least give me a ballpark guess

this clinic gets lab results within 24 hours, so ill post it tomorrow. they only tested my "total" test for the reason that if its within range, they said there is nothing they can do for me

however, they also said even if it is low, they have " to check with the head doctor of the clinic", they had a very hesitant tone in their voice when they said if it comes back low..

im just praying that it does come back low(as sad as that sounds) so i can start HRT and feel better

alright guys, just got the results from the "total" test bw, and it came back at 681... quite lower than the 869 in the original bw when i took the nolva up to 4 days prior to the bw.. so the nolva affected my results by over 200 points

now, since my test is "within range" why is my libido still not well, i have no sex drive whatsoever yet my hormone panel says otherwise, i dont really see how this could be.. i know i juiced in hs and that was wrong and it makes sense that i could have wrecked my hormones, however my hormones are all good

vets and knowledgeable members, what do you guys think is going on, is just a mental thing? i mean my bw is all good, yet i still feel like this and it started since my last cycle 3 years ago.. whats going on in my body?

If you want a diagnoses you have to get a full bloodwork panel done. And not while your on Nolva. Your estrogen is high on your first bloodwork you posted. E2 can relate to libido. Get a full workup done by your GP or get referred to a Endo. If you don't know what a full workup is go to the HRT section under the stickies.

What age did you do your cycle? Did you just do 1 cycle and what was the compounds and what was your PCT? It would be nice to have a baseline blood work to see what everything looked like when you were natty. But since you did this in HS it's hard to know.

Just because your e2 is "in range" does not mean it's optimal. My e2 is 25. So if I had yours which is 41 I might have libio issues. Everyone is different though.

my gp is totally ignorant when it comes to this, i told him i wanted a full bloodwork panel but he said no, like i was crazy, so i guess ill go to an endo later

since my e2 is high, is there some type of estrogen reversal protocol that i could do? i would rather get my e2 under control and see if i feel better, than go from there

Does your doctor know your history of AAS? If he does and refuses bloodwork I would ask to get recommended to an Endo, if you can get one that has experience in guys who have used AAS. Perhaps your doctor knows one (a good endo with AAS experience) and could refer you.

if you're not currently on a cycle, then there is really nothing much you can do. your estro is from conversion of your natty test. all these are in their naturally balanced levels. if you take some AI to lower the estro, it will only be temporary, and will return to current levels once you stop.

but you might want to wait till you're mid 20s. cycling at 21yrs old may make your libido problems worse in the future.

  28. #28
125mg test-e would probably give you what you want but i don't think that is your problem.

i'm guessing your issues are more in your head or due to other lifestyle choices that we on this board don't know about.

if you do cycle especially a larger dose like 500mg your sex drive will come back but in a few months or a year you'll be back here a 2nd time wondering why you feel like shit.

you don't see how anxiety/depression can hurt your sex life?

or are you saying that you mechanically can't 'get it up?'
