Sounds about right to me! are you doing a lot of cardio?Originally Posted by milky01623
Only light cardio if there is such a thing due to my occupation I walk on ave maybe 5-6 miles a day and strapping down 11 cars a load twice a day would this factor into it?
yeah but not alot and if your at 3026 then you want to cut to around 2500 so you gradually lose weight!
In other words slow down to burn less cals?
Are you bulking or cutting? Bulking add 500cals if cutting take off 500calsOriginally Posted by milky01623
I'm trying to cut bf and hopefully by doing so loose my belly to start to see my abs again
Milky, if it helps - I lift 4x per week and do 2 fairly intensive cardio sessions. I'm on my feet at work walking but don't classify that as active as I'd probably move about just as much at home. Anyway, with that activity level I can use a multiplier of 1.5 to get what my actual maintenance seems to be.

It takes approx 7500cals to burn 1kg of fat, so if u drop 500cals a day (food wise) and burn 500cals a day in cardio, u will drop roughly 1kg of weight a week!Originally Posted by milky01623
Ok so I've recalculated using 1.375 and the new figure is 2685 that sounds betterOriginally Posted by SteM
I go on holiday in 6 weeks is it possible to loose 8lbs and get a little more definition in the abs area?
Absolutely man, like I said, lose 1kg a week what's that 2.2lbs! If u lose weight weight, your abs will be more visible, they come hand in hand! You can do it mateOriginally Posted by milky01623
