    Donating Blood

Hey guys, I have a question which will probably be a stupid one but what the hell.... My business is sponsoring a huge blood drive next week. I will be into my 3rd week of pct, nolva/clomid, following a test only cycle with adex for ai. So, can I give blood? Since I am in charge and have been pushing everyone to get involved, I feel pressured to donate as well.

if your Doc prescribed the test, like mine, you should be g2g. However, there may be an issue with injecting at home as opposed to going into a clinic for your injection.

Here's what you can do. You can call up the Red Cross and ask them. I believe the questionere is a standard form and you might be able to look it up online as well.

I donate plasma while I'm on cycle. It's no big deal.

They are going to screen the blood before they use it, so if there is a problem they'll just dispose of it. Don't stress.

this isn't sound logic. there are many things that slip through the blood tests that the questionere is supposed to cover.

    Mad cow disease for one.....

I meant they're not going to red flag him on the spot. Besides, those blood tests really do a good job of keeping the blood supply safe. I'm sure there will always be a few things that slip through the cracks though

I think on the test they ask you if you have ever taken human pituitary growth hormone you are disqualified, I'm guessing then you would be since you killed a guy and cracked his skull open and sucked his gh out of his brain you would be dq'd right.

You're fine. Those questions about injectable drug use are to weed out junkies who might share needles. The Nolva and Clomid won't have any effect on donors, and testosterone solutions cannot really contain any live viruses. And I have no idea how mad cow disease-causing prions would get in there, but that's the last thing I would worry about.

I donated no problem!! YEah the questionaire that djdizzy posted is right, they ask about HPGh, and a few of other drugs for diseases. Nothing about normal medication, etc. They did ask if Ive used steroids, had sex with anyone who uses steroids or other injectables. I lied on that cause I never share ect, so no worries on what they are talking there. WEnt no problem, like a free check up. bp is great, pulse is low good(athletic) and iron count is high in a good way!! I will find out my blood type in a couple days!

You tell them you have used hgh you can't donate for 10yr due to CJD from the old method of extracting the gh, it wasn't lab made, they extracted it from pripituary (yes I can't spell) gland of cows, some of which had BSE and this passed on CJD to several people, it actually killed several aswell........
