Pin very slowly with a 23-25 gauge, massage the site post injection and heat the oil in the syringe under warm water before you pin it

It gets easier but for now you just need to bare it

^^^^ I push the pin in slowly AND push the plunger very slowly.

    It will get better.

Since you are just starting, I will warn you now: eventually you will have one that bleeds a lot. Don't freak. It is normal.

Advil only has a very mild anti-platelet effect, so it isn't much of a "blood thinner".
And as already stated, man up.

If you're really in pain, a little advil/tylenol can help. Just stick to a sensible dose for a sensible duration. Subsequent pins will be less painful.

I have just recently added my quads to my pinning rotation.. one quad last week and one this week. My legs were sore a day after the injection, and i spend 10 hrs a day on my feet in a restaurant kitchen. Is the pain annoying yes but is it something u cant deal with no... like the previous guy said man up..

Yeah and like everyone has said WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE. And we have all manned up and walked and ran and even worked our legs with that pain, it goes away, its par for the course.

Quads tend to be a litttle more sensitive because of density as compared to glutes, you get used to it. For inflamation take ibuprofen.

mate the pain isnt even compartable to the day following a hardcore leg day. right now i can neither sit nor stand. and when i try either i look like a 90 year old man with arthritus....my advice go do a heavy leg workout and you will soon forget about that little injection pain.

LOL, there is nothing wrong with taking an anti-inflammatory. I recommend it to people all the time at work, it's standard medical procedure, but you do sound silly whining on a message board about it. ha ha ha

I have a question related to this. I'm on my fourth pin of a 10 week cycle (1 per week). 1cc sustamed. I follow the whole procedure given in the self-help section for pinning. Delt 'cause it's easiest for me to get to and honestly, I can do my job with one gimpy arm, but no way with a gimpy leg so I don't dare do quads. Anyway, all that to say, fourth pin I'm *still* having issues with inflammation, sust flu, and pain. I thought first three must be getting used to it, but I'm almost 1/2 way through this 10 weeks and the garbage feelings the day after pinning and the pain still isn't getting better. Takes about a whole week for one side to recover. I alternate delts, by the way, so it's not like I'm plugging away at the same place.
Is it possible that a body will simply never grow accustomed to having prop?
Or is it possible I'm pinning too deeply and getting on the other side of the delt? Would that have a bad side effect of swelling up an arm down to the elbow for a week?

Well. Most people think they have a steady hand. I've mentioned this many times but your hand is probably not steady. There are 2 reasons why an injection spot could become hardened/swell and be uncomfortable. (I'm guessing you're not really in pain, and just have some discomfort.) - Pain is a broken rib or a gun shot wound. If you can make it to work, you're not in pain.

That said... the 2 main reasons are an infection or muscle damage. Muscle damage from injections is caused by an unsteady hand. The tip of the needle is a razor blade and ANY slight movement will cause all kinds of cuts inside. For me, this goes away after 2 full days. It gets red, uncomfortable, hot to the touch and hardens. If it doesn't go away after 2 days I would go see a doctor because it might be infected.

I guess if you're pinning twice a week its not that terrible, but really, you should try pinning different spots. I recommend at least 5 to 6 days before pinning the same spot. Preferably 7. This will prevent scar tissue and oil buildup --> which could also cause discomfort.

    Good luck.

Well, it is 14 days between injecting the same spot as I only inject once a week. Friday and alternate arms. like I said I'm really paranoid of doing a leg or butt 'cause I stand for 12 hours a day when at work. NOT going to happen if my butt or leg has the same reaction. First time injecting I know for sure I wobbled around a lot. The other times I've been very careful to lay down and prop my fingers on the mattress to hold the needle steady as I injected. The first one I could have sworn was infected, but by time I was back in town where I could get it checked out the swelling and heat had subsided, so this is just an immune system response. And it's happened every shot since :/ My immune system might be uncooperative on this.

Maybe its the spot you're hitting. Not sure. Try the quad once and see. You may not have any issues there. You will never know unless you try. I pin quads, and Im on my feet all day at work, too. I've had issues with delts, but not quads. Just try it. If you're that concerned hit your traps or lats.

this is my second cycle, using tetst e, tren A, equipose. shot it in my left shoulder. no pain when doing it, but the next day starting feeling some discomfort as not being able to sleep on my left shoulder. there is a bit of swelling, and muscle is slightly hardened (second day and the it has softened a bit after going for deep tissue massage). there is not redness or any change of colour in the injection site. my last cycle was about 1 year ago. any advice on this

Extreme pain and redness every time for me for first 5 weeks. Couldn't walk on many occasions. 1st cycle On week 8. I'm golden now. But yes it's a small form of hell on virgin muscles apparently.

I am in the same exact situation. Injected upper outer third Tuesday morning. Injection was smooth and painless. Pain worsened starting last night. Woke up 3 hours early, it is Thursday morning now, and the pain spread and is mostly in middle quad down to knee. Can barely move the mo fo and can't sleep. Feels like a damn Mack truck hit my leg! I can't move anywhere or bend knee without excruciating pain.

Leg day today too....let the pain really begin! Haha

Quads for me are the only muscle I can pin without any pain at all, glutes are the worst for me.
