Does anyone supplement with digestive enzymes? Seems like when I don't take them the food just "sits" in my stomach and doesn't digest well especially a heavy protein meal.

I have supplemented very well with bromelain and will probably start again real soon, cost is a little high in the UK. I know gbrice also uses it.
What specific enzymes and amounts do you take?
NO SOURCES GIVEN
It's a mixture from Whole Foods which includes:
Bromelain 120 GDU
Papain 600,000 FCCPU
Protease-Acid 10 SAPU
Amylase 400 DU
Lipase 60 FCCLU
Protease 400 HUT
Lactase 20 ALU
Cellulase 10 CU
Hemicellulase 10 HCU
This is for 2 capsules. I usually take 3-4 if I ate a high protein meal. I'm not really sure what the units are but they seem to help my digestion. There may be better mixtures available.
I supplement with Bromelain, Betaine and Chromium although the latter isn't a digestive enzyme.
I supplement with a blend of prebiotics and probiotics, 8 billion alive bacteria to do aid my digestive system in each pill.
I take a pill in between two large meals that consist of a lot of anabolic protein, such as red meat and chicken.
4lt of spring water, about 4-6 large cups of black and green tea and 30gr of fiber ED also helps a lot with digestion, in spite of the heavy protein diet I have been following over the years... Never constipated, ever.

From what I've been reading bromelain is the best to aid protein digestion. And the enzymes I've been taking have some bromelain just not enough.
