Finaflex 1-andro; a controlled substance??

Hey guys, about 2 years ago i was playing college baseball and my strength wasn't quite like I wanted it to be. My teammates told me to take this supplement because it simply drove up metabolism and wasn't a steroid at all. I used my buddy's extra bottle and things went great for the 4 week time i used it, and then everything i gained i lost and then some (an extra 20 lbs lower then when i had took it). My knees and joints went from feeling like an 18 year old's should to feeling like I had lost all cartilage, Anyway I'm looking to apply to my counties sheriffs office and while reading the drug use policy I realized it says that they will not hire anyone who has used controlled substances within the last 5 years. Yes, after my woe's of stupidity I found out that the bottle i used is, in fact, a PH. Though, I can't find any site that says whether it is a controlled substance or not. I'm really hoping someone can let me know if it is or not, after all what I have been through the last 2-3 years I'd like to have a ray of sunshine knowing that my past, yet again, won't affect my present.
