    R-ala with beer

    This might be a stupid question but if I was going to drink a lot of alcohol would be ok to take R-ala before I drank?

    Never tried it but I dont see why not, beer has carbs in it too.

    I don't see any side effects but don't think you can take r-ALA before you drink and be all set with it handling the carbs. I would suggest not drinking first off. Light beer only has a few carbs in it per beer, most the cals comes from the alcohol.
