Ok Im bored so thought Id start a new thread. Im sure we have all had our bad run ins with the cops(another thead sometime!), but Im sure some of us have had some run ins when you thought, damn, that was cool and unexpected. Lets share! Ive actually got a couple but heres my best one. This was years ago, Iwas was about 21 at the time. It was toward the end of a 2 year or so relationship. I went out with my girl and some friends and got all fkd up. We got into an arguement, I think I flirted with a girl or some bs. So we are driving home on the highway, screaming at each other. I miss the exit ramp and drive past it. I am so pissed I grab the e brake and slide around 180 at atleast 50mph, so I can drive back the wrong way on the highway to the ramp as oppossed to going to the next exit and backtracking.( its 2 am ish and didnt see any other cars/lights on highway, and Im only a couple hundred yards past the ramp). I start driving the wrong way down the highway, and blue lights come on in front of me. I pull over to the right, which is actually to the left of the fast lane as im turned around. The cop pulls up to me so our cars are facing each other bumper to boumper. He pulls me out of the car, PISSED!! Gives me a sobriety test, I fail miserably. He must have just seen it in my eyes or something cause he looks at me and say whats going on man. I tell him me and my girl are falling apart, bad decisions, etc, and I just wanted to get home, I was totally deflated in general at that point in my life. He pats me on the back, says hang in there bud. Tells me to get in my car and drive the best I can, and he will escort me home. He follows me to my complex, I turn in, he toots his horn and keeps going. Me and the girl split for good the next day... 100% true story and coolest cop Ive ever encountered. He could have gotten me for a fistful of charges. Share away!!
