    New to Steroids

    Hi All

    In need of assistance...

    My stats:

    24
    6 ft
    Fluctuate between 161lb - 166lb

I'm new to steroids, the only supplement I have ever used is whey protein. I'm looking to bulk up, or even just tone up if it makes me look less skinny!

What would be your recommendations to a first time user? Preferably oral too. I know I have to work on my diet, but I'm looking for answers on steroids only. Anything that will help me reach my goals.

I'm currently in the gym 3-4 times a week, I like my routine and I rest properly.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers!

    Welcome to the board mate!
Steroids are the last step, after your diet is really dialed in and your workout routines appropriate for your goals.
How long have you been seriously working out this last time? how much do you know about nutrition?
Your days in the gym seem light. 3x a week is more of a maintenance than a bulking effort. I'd suggest 5x a week if you want to make some good progress.
Additionally, most newbs think their diet is fine, when it is not. I'd suggest posting your diet in the nutrition section, including macros per meal, along with total macros per day. include your tdee so we can bbench mark against it. to gain, you should be 500 cals/day over tdee or more. once your diet is posted, you will get some feedback as to improvement possibilities.
Glad to have you onboard, and good luck!

    Thanks for your reply.

To be honest, I know my diet is rubbish! I find maintaining a balanced diet harder than working out in the gym! With a busy schedule, with work and all, then the expense of it, I know I miss out and calories and high protein foods!

I'm probably being very inpatient, after almost 2 years without any gym work (due to a knee injury) I have been back in routine since October and have put almost a stone in weight on. Which I'm very happy about.

I'm surprised you believe I should work out 5 x a week. I'll take your advice on bored, but everybody harps on about having rest days!

Theoretically, if I had a perfect diet, perfect gym routine, what would you suggest just to help me improve?

Apologies if I'm asking silly questions as a newby. I'm certainly not going to waste money and buy supplements for the sake of it, I know I have to improve other areas at first. The point of this thread, is just to help me get a rough idea of what I would need if any.

    Dont do oral only cycle.
its good to have a test base even if very small with any cycle.
    I would rec when ready:
    wk1-14 500mg teste ew
    wk15-19 PCT
    *AI on hand.

I rec STANE from AR-R if you want to cut down cost and risk. ;-)
