Opinions on injecting Nebido in the thigh?

Hello everyone,

I self-injected 4 ml of Nebido almost a month ago and I chose the thigh because it seemed to be far easier than injecting in my glute. I took my time and injected very slowly.

I know the literature from the manufacturer states that it should be injected in the glute, but since I was self-injecting and hearing from quite a few guys who inject Nebido in the thigh, I chose to use the thigh myself.

Then, a very knowledgeable member made a me a little worried yesterday from the following quote.

I would be very careful injecting Nebido ( particularly 4 mls ) in the thigh. Nebido from all I have read is meant to be injected as one large depot in the glute and I would assume that depot size and muscle location are both very important to the action of the drug. I would also have to assume that with an injection this large expert placement and very slow injection are paramount in ensuring that there are no problems at the depot and I would also assume with a shot this size that "sudden onset nonproductive cough" is also a far greater problem than in is with your average 1ml shot.

Any opinions on this?

I think I`ll go for the glute next time if I can do it myself without problem, but I just hope that the first shot went down as it should.
