Anxiety on cycle and pct (deca, test) need advice from Vets

Hi all, need some help regarding anxiety on cycle.

    Stats
    29
    215lbs
2 test only cycles previous to this

I started a cycle on test(300mg) deca (300mg) a week, About 3 weeks in I started getting panick attacks and anxiety, I thought it must have been deca as test has never done this to me. So I dropped the deca and continued the test for nearly 2 more weeks, the symptoms got worst so I dropped all gear. 2 weeks after Last test pin I started Basic pct 30mg nolva, 30mg clomid. I'm only a few days in but still getting bad anxiety.

Any idea what would be causing this? What I could do to help it?

Spoken with a local DR who has offered
To put me on anti depressants, I want to kind of avoide this but if it's my only option I will give it a try.

    Any help appreciated.

consider some valerian if you want to go herbal. lay off the caffeine as well. it took me a solid 6 weeks to become stable emotionally after my last cycle. Otherwise consult your doctor about anxiety meds. Be aware that many are very addictive and withdrawals can cause seizures, horrible anxiety, and general malaise.

I know you are trying to help but many of your posts have been reckless and unsafe. Recommending rec drugs for anxiety issues, especially a highly addictive one is not necessary.

if you ever had to detox off medium/long term perscribed benzo use then you would never recommend it to anybody

I have mild anxiety naturally , it is very mild and does not affect my day to day life, I just avoide coffee and other stimulants like pre workouts as they can 'tweek' me out a bit.

My previous cycles were fine I felt like a millions bucks, during pct after my first cycle I had a little depression which was from clomid after halving my does it helped.

DR has given me 'temazepam to help sleep if I need it but I take it very rarely.

I also have anxiety but very mild but when I was doing my test deca cycle it ramped up I just fought through it and it calmed down a bit towards the end and during the cycle I talked to my doc and he said that steroids can cause anxiety issues in those without it or make it worse for those who have it.

PCT anxiety is not uncommon. It's a bit more rare on cycle. I tend to find my anxiety rises on cycle when my estro gets high or im over training.

I agree with Noles12 110%. Immediately getting on medication for anxiety is a terrible idea. Work on finding the root cause for your anxiety. Lack of sleep, alcohol use, caffeine, relationships, work issues, and over training are just some possible causes.

Yes I have quit training for a few weeks as I find if I have a good training session the anxiety is then through the roof that night. It has eased off a bit but here and there I am still getting bouts of it. Last night was quite bad.

I've had mild to moderate anxiety during past pct, but not on cycle. Ive used Benadryl to help get to sleep on occasion when this occurs.

any idea why the cause of anxiety? I always thought anxiety was related to a chemical in the brain rather then hormone levels?

I have anxiety as well. I treat mine episodically with xanex. It's very low dose and it's done under my docs supervision.
You can do test and have anxiety but you'll need to get with a dr first. In my

nadrolone turns me into an emotional wreck right at the 5.5 week (deca) mark until it clears my system. and until it clears my system, (a month+ for deca from cessation) i feel that way. i've yet to try npp but may do so just to see if i get the same effect but with a fast ester. but once it's gone the "feelings" dissappear. it's weird but i don't really get any physical sides from test or deca, just the psychological sides. even if i run 25mg of stane per day on deca/test it still happens, which leads me to believe it's not E related. i believe it has to do with progesterone but have yet to get any blood work done to verify. when i was experiencing these sides i did some reading up on women who were supplemented with progesterone injections and many of them had the same sides i experienced. many of them even said they felt suicidal while under the effects..

i would give it more time before i bothered with other drugs

edit: the amount of deca run, 100mg/week to 400mg/wk had no difference on the sides i felt. it was the same either way.

I meant for the valium to be taken under a doctors care, as it has been for me since high school. There is nothing more terrifying than a panic attack, and valium is the only thing that helps ME personally. Just giving my opinion on what has worked for me. As far as the other thing ill keep that to myself. Please let me know when my posts appear reckless, so i can edit them and realize when i may be putting someone in harms way. As sometimes I forget that not everyone knows the dangers of benzos etc.

That's cool dude , when I spoke to the dr he actually suggested putting me on some Valium for short term relief. I am not taking anything yet I am hoping my body will just correct itself. The deca should have cleared my system by now I just hope I haven't ****ed my body somehow and that I do get back to normal soon. It's hell! I feel sorry for ppl who suffer this.

This will be my last cycle.

It's better to treat it episodically than to treat it with antidepressants in my opinion.

Yes I agree. Anxiety, in my case at least, hits hard and out of the blue, about once every few weeks. Theres no point (in my case at least) to go on antidepressants when it can be treated effectively when it strikes.
