minimum adex dosage? thoughts?

I was reading on another forum that 1mg of adex ed should be the very minimum that anyone should use on cycle as even this won't drive estrogen too low.

What are peoples thoughts on this theory? is this BS? i haven't heard of a recommended minimum dosage this high before however the guy appears to be quite well repected.

All the threads on here stick with .25 as a dose. I'm sure that you may have to increase that if you're running a bunch of crazy compounds!! Hopefully some vets will jump in on this!!

Yeah that's more along the lines of what i was thinking. I was quite surprised to read that. I don't think it was even in relation to running a load of compounds either.

However, this guy was calling people stupid for using any less and says 1mg is what post menopausal women use to prevent what little test they have converting. He was saying its no wonde'er r that everyone is posting with gyno problems. I guess bloodeork is the only way. Was just interested to post here and see what you thought.

.25 mg eod kept E2 perfect while on 750 mg of test e a week. Verified by blood work.

would 0.25 ed be a good starting point then and adjust from there? When i do choose to cycle i'd only be going at 400-500 per week for 12 weeks combined with 2x250 iu's of hcg/week.

Also how often should bloods be checked for a 12 week cycle to montor? Just beginning middle end? or maybe 2-3 times during?

.25 eod is a good starting point. Have blood work done prior to cycle start. This will give you a base line. Then have blood work done a few weeks after completion of PCT. Then compare the 2 to see where you are. Do not tell the doctor it is for steroid use.

In addition to what Capebuffalo said I have bw done somewhere in the middle of a cycle to see if I need to adjust the AI especially if you've changed anything from a previous cycle. You don't have to do a bunch of bw every cycle. Just until you find what works for you.

Not sure if i'd even be using adex as i like the sound of aromasin. Is there much of a difference between these two really? I know that theres a difference in terms of one deactivating estro and one inhhibiting it but overall would it really natter that much?

Oh and i shouldve said that i have slightly puffy nipples when body temp is warm.

Seems to be a genetic thing and my bf is low.

post menopausal women use adex to treat breast cancer. their lives depend on it and they need their estro to be zero, or close to it. any estro can stimulate and trigger a relapse of their breast cancer.

for male bbers, we don't want estro to be zero, we don't even want it to be low, it has to be within the normal range for normal body function and good cycle gains. thats why the dose is different.

I got my Adex four weeks into my cycle, used 0.5mg ED for 10days as I thought I was getting the first signs of Gyno, and crashed my Estrogen.
Using 0.25mg EOD now with no problems.

Thanks for the replies. I don't really know much of the science behind the drugs, i only really know suggested dosages an when/why to use that is why when i read it i thought i'd ask on here. Main reason i did was because the guy seems to be really well respected, post a lot of scientific research and seems to have people following what he tells them lol. At the samer time though, on that very same site they seem to give out steroid advice to 20 year olds and i was advised to run dbol on my first ever cycle lol.

Out of interest what is the equivalent exemestane dosage? 12.5 eod?
