    Layne Norton power/hypertrophy

how advance of a lifter should you be to start this? i know he talks about not adding everything thing at once as its very full on training. so to me sounds like you can pick this up fairly early and start adding all the elements every 4-5 weeks. anyone with experience using this style of training ?

I've done it, but it's hard to remember now exactly how. I know it was 4 workout days - 2 power days, 2 hypertrophy days (upper/lower split). I do recall having excellent results and in fact plan to implement this routine again soon.

Yeah im removing a lot of exercises to start. its 5 days gonna follow it exactly BUT i will make sure i limit my sets to 12 per week. as per body part. Im even breaking out old school starting strength principles of my power days!

Did my power days yesterday and today both fasted and i mean i killed it in strength. was very surprised how well my C.N.S did with no food just a scoop of BCAA and this new creatine i got (concrete) ?? i haven't used creatine for like 13 years but apparently this stuff doesn't give bloat like mono-hydrate.

I never stretch unless its between sets, when i was younger this is how i trained and did well. but i guess from everything ive read its counter productive BUT im curious if its still better then no stretching at all.
