    Acceptible Fat Sources?

So I just read eating carbs + fat combo is a big no no, but that pretty much rules out all of sources of fat we generally rely on.
It means no more 2% milk, no more veggies at the side of your steak, no more cream cheese on your bagel, no more peanut butter on your toast,
and eating peanut butter on it's own is disgusting.

All I can think of is get loaded on deli meat such as salami as your snacks to meet your recommended fat macros?

Fats do affect how the body absorbs and uses carbs and protein.

I keep my fats and carbs separate, and simple things like adding flax seed to my bed time whey makes it mimic casein so i don't have to waste money on more bunk BB magazine propaganda.

I eat carbs in my first 3 meals and then no more other then in the form of 5 carbs from 100g broccoli or spinach.

the rest of teh day i will have my 20 almonds, 75g avocado's or two tbsp of Natty peanut butter with my protein and greens.

fat macros are the easiest thing to hit considering most people are in the 65-100g fat daily range.

But arent you commiting the ultimate crime of mixing fat with carbs because almonds, flax seeds and avocado contain both carbs and fat

not at all, once you know your macros. how your body responds to your carb sensitivity it all becomes a lot clearer. The carbs in my ground flax seed are not enough to hinder anything, the same if i have 5 carbs from 100g broccoli.

Find out how YOU respond to things. my friend has a gluten allergy, you do not so why would u guys use the same diet plan. People don't wanna find out what works for them. They want to go into a sticky thread and say " wow im eating 3500 calories too, im gonna copy and paste this diet and now im sweet.

Gbrice once said " its the train of thought of alot of vets here at AR to keep them separate, but at the end of the day it wont kill you"
