Hi my missis is keen to loos weight and obviously i have no problem with that lol

She does not eat very much at all so im surprised that she has any weight on her at all.

I have ephedrine and 100x 40mcg clen at hand and can easily obtain t3's locally and was wondering wot you guys think would be the best and fastest way???

Not eating is a poor weight management tool. Eat right and exersize, it's that basic. After you have diet and exersize, then add the ephi, clen and T3. they won't help much if you don't get up and do something.

The best would be to get her diet in check first. If the diet is not in check, she'll just go back to where she was before starting anyway.

Anyone have any idea on how to get her to excercise??

I was thinking getting her to do the akinsons diet and then add eph's for the energy boost as no carbs will obviously give u low energy?

She always eats late with me as i am a full time dad and dont get to eat till after 7 so she waits till i do to which isnt great.

I had a friend that mentiiond dangling a Snickers bar from a string in front of his wife while she was on the treadmill. The comment cost him some lonely nights on the couch

But not quite as funny as someone asking how to get their wife to excersize.....That my friend is the $50,000 question.

Doesnt sound like she is concerned about losing weight.

One of the top searches on search engines is "How to lose weight". The problem is that most folks are looking for a magic pill. They realize they don't work and then resort to using some sort of enhancer, without understanding the dangers of using when overweight.

You need to find out what motivates her. Without motivation, you got nothing. Try taking her to the gym with you. Personal Trainers at least twice a week can help motivate as well. Bring her here so she can learn how to eat, calculate her TDEE, break down macros. You never know, she might become obsessed with proper nutrition when she understands how cutting works.

Click here and Print this thread for her to read..

Best of luck to both of you.

Just ask her if she will go to the gym with you

Or walk with her at night. That's a start

The two best exersizes on earth are swimming and sex. Ask her which she'd rather do, swim the Channel to Calais or scrog like a couple of teenagers.

Well if your a fat ass then there is no reason for your Missus to be in shape, sounds like you both have poor diets eating late and what not. And Atkins won't do anything for getting someone motivated of anything it will do the exact opposite then they all eventually carb crash anyways.

Find fun activities to do together
Cook together and make healthy diets
    Eat tons of veggies
    Set the bar for fitness
Get all the gym equipment in your house makes it easier to get up and get at it
    Be enthusiastic not pushy

Speaking from experience here mine just recently got fit as and this is how we did it

There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating late. Has everything to do with what you're eating. Atkins is a perfect start for anyone who has been overweight and wants to see rapid fat loss without going hungry.

My wife lost over 80lbs when SHE decided she wanted to. It didn't matter how many years I spent hounding her about weight and trying to get her to do something about it. She did it when SHE was ready. If anybody has been married very long you know that this is the rule and that (like in my case) the more you push the less likely they are to do it.

This was eloquently put, very insightful advice!

All I can do is tailgate, and touch on the one thing that may have slighly undervalued.

This is primary, does she TRULY want to lose weight, or is it something she's JUST doing for you?

Try taking her to the gym with you.
Remember, if she starts lifting the scale is no longer your barometer, use her clothing fit, the mirror, and your ever-discerning eyes instead.
Note: Although many women refuse to lift, it's actually the best thing they can do for both health and aesthetics...muscle (even a little) is very attractive.

This is the KEY, and you unwittingly gave it to us!
From what you describe she eats very little and it's therefore puzzling to you why she even needs to lose fat at all. The answer here is quite simple, she has progressively reduced her caloric consumption while training her body to subsist on less. These actions serve to suppress the metabolism to a point of inefficiency. In short, she's under-eating, which makes her body resistant to releasing stored fat. The solution is to start her on 5-6 small but calorically substantial meals a day...carbs and protein early, transitioning after midday to more protein dense w/vegetable meals. This will have a 3-pronged effect: 1) it will increase her overall caloric intake back to a level at which her fat cells (so to speak) are comfortable enough to release storage; 2) it will reset her metabolic set point at a higher level for more efficient fat burning; and 3) it will give her renewed energy that she'd adaptively forgotten even existed, with which will come a greater desire for use, i.e. to move, dance, get out, and with slight coaxing from you, go to the gym and train.

Best of luck to both of you.

This is an oft misunderstood concept, that is spot on.
One should never, regardless of the time of day, go hungry! Metabolically-speaking, one shouldn't even get hungry. Think your hypothalamus (the part of the brain that gauges hunger and satiation) as the fuel light on your car. When that light comes on, i.e. you get hungry, there's a problem that needs to be attended to. This problem shouldn't be incurred at all with the exception or pre-breakfast cardio. The adult body, just as that of an infant (and yes I realize they consume mostly liquid diets), is designed to graze throughout the day...every 2-3 hours, a habit which prevents hunger, promotes steady energy by eliminating those peaks and valleys, and wholly supports optimal intestinal health and elimination processes - another important factor in weight management. The 3-meal-a-day method was adopted out of the necessity to facilitate working lives, ergo we eat breakfast before or shortly after starting work, lunch midday at work, and dinner sometime (early or late) after work. It's far better biologically-speaking to consume fruit, bars, shakes, sandwiches, granola, nuts & raisins, etc. throughout the day.

As Austinite stated, what you eat is what's important. And what's consumed should be based on impending energy requirements. As long as this principle is adhered to, late night and even early morning (1-4 am) eating is perfectly justifiable and absolutely warranted.

I can't stress this enough, DIET NOT EXERCISE IS THE KEY TO WEIGHT MANAGEMENT (LOSS & GAIN). Exercise, both resistance training and cardio are important to health, but merely supplemental to diet, i.e. vitamins. You wouldn't try to live on them alone would you???

If she's genuinely motivated, else you're fighting a losing battle, spend some time with her in the Diet Forum first overhauling and/or tweaking her diet accordingly. Then introduce her to the iron room work, and interval cardio.
