    8 weeks vs 12 weeks?

So I been lurking the forums and have seen a lot of recommendations to take test-e for 12 weeks.. However the very first sticky in this forum recommends to use 8 weeks to get maximum benefits .. I know that each source may ha e a different theory/opinion buts whole month difference is quite a substantial difference and I wouldn't think a sticky would be a sticky if it didn't contain good advice.

    Thoughts/input ?

Some of the stickies are outdated.

It also depends on what kind of Test you use for you first cycle. If you are using Test Prop (short ester) then 8 weeks would be good. If you are running Test E/C (long ester) then 12-14 weeks is good to start.

alot agree on taking long esters for 12 weeks simply because it takes a few weeks to notice gains as the compound builds up in your system more gradually (slower)than a shorter ester, so therefor its good to run it that extra 4 weeks to get the most out of your cycle imo

I would assume it ment Prop. If you have more detailed questions you can ask them in this section of the forum!
