Why Nolva & Clomid?

Sorry if this seems ignorant, but why is the standard recommended PCT always Nolva & Clomid together? What would happen if a person only used Nolvadex following a 12 week Test C/dbol cycle with aromasin 12.5mg EoD and HCG the last 4 weeks? I'm not currently cycling but am looking to.

it has been found in studies that combined therapies work better than either one used on its own. give your body the best chance to recover.

and hcg should be throughout cycle, up till pct, and not just the last 4 wks.
