Now I'm not saying that was a good idea or telling anyone else to do the same. Simply being honest about my own past. For the most part, I turned out fine. I am on TRT and don't mind that but even if I had waited till the age of 25 I probably would have ended up on TRT based on the types of cycles I did. You get into bodybuilding and often the here and now is all you can think about and often the here and now is massive and very long cycles. At the same time, I know of guys who were just like me that have far more serious issues after years of steroid abuse. It's in many ways a crapshoot.
All that said, the best thing to do is to encourage young guys to wait. Explain how the under-developed androgen system may be damaged irreversible and explain why. Explain to them that this may also happen even after the age of 25 but the odds will be far more in their favor. From there, and I have taken some heat on this board for this opinion but I still think it's the best approach, answer their direct questions about the steroids and various compounds. Don't encourage their use at such a young age but explain the ins and outs. This is how people learn. If they do decide to wait as most would agree they should, once they get to a more proper age they'll be far ahead of most individuals in their understanding and enjoy a far greater experience.
