How much you gain AND maintain is influenced by your nutrition which is why we preach it so often here!
Number of cycles is determined by a lot of individual variables.
i know a few people irl that said theyd just do 1 cycle to beef up a bit and well that was probs 6-7 cycles ago haha

I tryed it i done a cycle with perfect training and diet just to see if everyone was talking bollocks about you have to stay on the gear and it took around 3 years to start noticing i was losing muscle and that was because i eat what i wanted got drunk and hardly trained few pushups here and there so either my body hold on to gains really well which i doubt or its bollocks mate its all down to what you put in your mouth!
depend on your goals. if you're happy to look just a little bigger than the average joe, 1-2 cycles is enough and those gains are easy to maintain.
if you want to look like superman, then you'll need numerous cycles and super-human gains are not easy to maintain without gear

I had always planned on stopping with one. i run sust by its self i get solid gains while on
and when im finished with my pct i retain 5-8 pounds of lean muscle . so after a few cycles
i muscle up nicely . Bieng bigger than the normal guy is addicting as hell
