i have been off this forum for a good while, but now im back!! Just started my trt treatment today. since my time away i have experienced a major decline in my enjoyment for life and everyday things i have always loved to do.(work, family time, working out etc. sleep aches pains) its been over a yr since i did a cycle (last was test and tren) . i havent slept well in a year the tren started the prob and since it hasn't got better. i got tired of feeling down and out had some blood work done and the uro d.r. found my t-levels were to low (240/ im 32yrs old) he is wanting them to get around 600. prescribed test cyp 1ml / wk (200mg watson brand) im hoping this will improve my quality of life. i have managed to stay in good shape and i realize this isn't a cylce, but im looking at the big pic and looking forward to getting my old self back.

200mg will probably get you well above 600. Have you discussed possible use of an AI if needed?

Agreed that 200mg/wk will quite possibly put you over 600. Future blood work will tell. Good luck on feeling better.

I guess the bigger question here is why so low at your age? Was it because of previous cycles and you never rebounded correctly or are there are pathological reasons?

Did your physician discuss the need for hCG to keep your testes functioning properly and keeping HPTA in tact?

As noted, potential use of an AI to keep E2 in check?

Welcome back! 200 may put you well above 600. Most here would prefer you start with a lower initial dose and titrate up based on BW. Let us know how it works out for you please. And like GD said, a lot of new stuff to read for you!

more blood work in a month. 4 injections at office then my wife will take over(she was a nurse for this d.r. for 5yrs before moving on) he told me during exam my testicles were smaller than average. with one being very small ; i have noticed this my whole life but never thought anything(even as a child). his theory is more than likely i was not receiving enough blood flow when developing in mother's whom(spelling??) or he said it could be a blood flow problem to the testicles in general. i haven't ever had er problems and have been able to perform well in bedroom, but the libido is def been missing. i always ran good pct of clomid/nova. he didn't mention anything else (AI etc.) guys thanks for the replies i knew support would always be here.

please explain?? he did have a definition for the small one. i do not remember what he called it. i will look up and see what hypogonadal means. one thing that makes sense to me now is when i ran cycles i never had noticeable shrinkage. i always began to question how legit things were until the weight/strength gains started rolling in, but i guess "the boys" were as small as they were going to get; i don't know. i can already tell being back is going to come as a huge support.

Sounds like you have varicocele. Its common in young men 18-25 to be discovered during sports activity. It usualy on the right nut but can be in either or both. It can cause fertility issues also. Most of the time its an out patient procedure similar to a vasectomy. In simple terms its the twisting of the blood vessels to the nut. They go in and untie them to restore the blood flow. Hypogonadal means in simple terms that the testicles are under performing for any number of reasons.

Two types:
Primary: Generally means the Testicular Glands themselves are not functioning properly; so it's isolated to the organ.
Secondary: Generally means the Testicular Glands are/can function but are not due to secondary reasons such as HPTA suppression, Pituitary and Thyroid issues...the list goes on

thanks for the info guys!! my dr did express his surprise at how easy it was for my wife to get preg.(that was 4yrs ago) and within a few days we are going to start on our 2nd.
