Of course, if you were a regular at receiving packages with illegal substances in it and a case was trying to be built around you, they would have so much more evidence that pleading stupidity would not go far. if you have a mail box etc they will sign for it and call you when it gets there, or send you an email.. they you can go get it..

and most over seas require a signature

I have had it delivered with a fake name and a real name to two of my previous residences. Bro, i mail to my house (townhouse) we have a big sector mailbox and it comes usps in a flat rate box with my first and last name on it. If you are worried stick a postit note on it that says did not order return to sender and set it on your kitchen table for 4 days you can deny it because you didnt order it and accept it

Of course they can. They can do whatever they want; they've got the guns and money and power. But...why would they?

Maybe this is naive of me, but I really think the only way I would ever get in trouble for AAS is if I'm already being busted for something else and they just decide to throw that in. So, I live the rest of my life pretty clean and quiet.

One thing I used to do was buy from a friend overseas who lived where it was legal for personal use. So I'd send him money, he'd buy me stuff and package it up to look like something else and send it to me. It was a really sweet arrangement...till he started using my stuff and I didn't feel comfortable trusting him with my money anymore.

I agree. My point was... IF anything did happen, no story will help you. Saying "That's not what I ordered" doesnt fly.

If you had a good lawyer it would work...the prosecutor would have to prove that you made the purchase (as opposed to picking up a package someone else had sent as a gift) and that you knew what it was. Of course most of us probably don't make in a year what such a lawyer would charge.

Of course no one wants to get busted for drugs...but perhaps some of us have. I haven't, but I did get a DUI, and it's really not that bad in the long run. The fine got smashed down to $500, the diversion program was free after I just said I didn't have any money (which they didn't make me prove) and it cost like $50 to get my license back.

I know a lot of people who have been busted for small scale drug charges (heroin, meth, etc.) and their fines were waived. They had to go to a stupid class for 2 months.

If it's a first offense it won't be too bad...but still, best to avoid it.

I'm not trying to create panick but think! There is ALWAYS a record. Western Union, Cell phone calls, text messages, emails, history of shipments, bank transactions and so on. Unless your slipping cash to a hand and you know with out a doubt that guy doesn't have records with your name on it then there is always a trail and evidence.
