Long Term Question

I am currently taking 150mg weekly of Testosterone Cypionate for the last 4 weeks. It was prescribed for Hormone Replacement Therapy. I plan on moving the dose up to 400 week of Cypionate and 200 of Deca, once a week for 12 weeks. When i reach the end of this cycle, i plan on going back to 150 a week and not completely come off because of the original reason it was prescribed. Will this be safe or should i totaly stop at the end of the 12 week cycle? Thanks for your thoughts.

yes just drop back to your standard trt protocol when you are finished your cycle or blast as some people refer to it as

do you have any bloodwork scheduled during this period? if so then you have a problem, the doc wll immediately know that you are supplementing his perscribed treatment

If its your first blast I would wait on the deca. As well as what Dan said above

If you're on HRT you can basically just stop your blast and go back to your original dosage. No pct required. I would use caution cycling right now until you get your dosage dialed in as it really does take time. Your doc will also be requiring additional BW to monitor levels and adjust your protocol. You will need to consider an aromatase inhibitor (AI) to help control estrogen if not already prescribed as well as HCG to prevent testicular atrophy, assuming your secondary hypogonadal and not primary. Monitoring E levels must be done via a sensitive E2 assay. Hopefully your doc knows this as most docs really don't understand hormones.

So, take your time with this and learn how your body reacts to TRT. Head over to the TRT forum and read all the stickies there. They are a wealth of knowledge and can assist you greatly.

IMHO you will need 8 weeks after the blast to stabilize for blood work to be accurate. So your ready when the time comes......

I am also using HCG 1 week and and Anastrozole 2 times a week (once with the test and once with the HCG). All your feedback is great and i plan on sticking with just the test for the next 12 weeks... I'm 38 and 185 lbs.. does 400 a week seem like a good amount that i could see results? Also, i have seen many people on the forms say to stay away from Deca.. Everything i read makes it seem like it is actually a good product... this was prescribed to me as well. You all are wesome!! thanks for your time.

I wouldnt do the bump too once a week. I would divide it into 2 equal doses. I think you will be happier that way. Good luck!

Nothing wrong with Deca. At 200mg per week it's basically a medicinal dosage which is fine. For bodybuilding purposes you'd be looking at around 400-600. Control your E throughout this blast and you'll be fine. Make sure you have an AI in hand before you start. Everyone here will tell you though to stick to test for a first cycle which is good advice so you can learn exactly how your body reacts to whatever dosage you choose.
