Depending on the amount of androgens circulating will trigger the negative feedback mechanism and control how "hard" the pituitary should stop production of LH/FSH. There is not light switch it's one of those twisty dimmers imo

Blood work usually shows this depending on the amount of exogenous testosterone being supplied. If you check out some of the guys on TRT their blood work will differ depending on if they are on 5g Gel/day or 150mg Test/week.
