flush it in your mailbox to my house
Flush it down the toilet, give it to a friend, bury it in your yard, throw it out of a moving vehicle, pour it down the sink, pour it in a body of water... Oh and this one is crazy, you can even throw it in the trash.Originally Posted by sikkestkuntouthere

Man, haven't you ever heard that you should NEVER EVER flush medicine down the toilet? Especially hormonal stuff? It's a giant health hazard and there have been concerns about people flushing things like birth control down the toilet, and that crap gets out into the environment, lakes, rivers, (and some even think that not all of it gets filtered out in the treatment plants) and then it gets into organisms, animals, humans....
^^^ This.
Thats a fact was watching a program about that.
Yes, it's become a HUGE concern as to why there are so many people in this day and age getting severe endocrine problems and disruptions, especially at young ages. They strongly suspect its due to the hormonal based medications that IDIOTS and morons are flushing down the toilet. Stuff like birth control pills and such. Nobody realizes that the molecules of these drugs are for the most part too small to be filtered out in the filtration system in treatment plants. Then you end up having drinking water with amounts of estrogen and shit in it.
DON'T FLUSH YOUR LETRO DOWN THE TOILET. And don't pour it down the sink either. If you don't want it anymore, throw it in the trash where you know it won't be recycled, or dump it into a used engine oil drum or something at an oil change shop but for god's sake don't flush it.
And stupid keeps coming.....
I'm not talking about eco harm, i'm talking about harm to especially us humans, since the water you flush is also the water you drink. And one guy dumping 90ml of letro into the toilet might not be an issue in the grand scheme of things, but this is a cumulative issue where there are thousands of people every day ignorant of what they're doing that are dumping medication down the toilet to dispose of it, and its causing a big problem. This isn't conjecture, its not a 'conspiracy theory', it's fact. The FDA warns people of proper disposal methods for unused medication here,

Flushing of Certain Medicines
There is a small number of medicines that may be especially harmful and, in some cases, fatal in a single dose if they are used by someone other than the person the medicine was prescribed for. List of medicines recommended for disposal by flushing. For this reason, a few medicines have specific disposal instructions that indicate they should be flushed down the sink or toilet when they are no longer needed and when they cannot be disposed of through a drug take-back program. When you dispose of these medicines down the sink or toilet, they cannot be accidently used by children, pets, or anyone else.
You may have also received disposal directions for these medicines when you picked up your prescription. If your medicine is on this list, and you did not receive information containing disposal instructions along with your dispensed prescription, you can find instructions on how to dispose of the medicines at DailyMed2, by searching on the drug name, and then looking in one of the following sections of the prescribing information:
Information for Patients and Caregivers
Patient Information
Patient Counseling Information
Safety and Handling Instructions
Medication Guide
FDA remains committed to working with other Federal agencies and medicine manufacturers to develop alternative, safe disposal policies. Below is some additional information about flushing medicine that is no longer needed. If you have additional questions about disposing of your medicine, please contact us at 1-888-INFO-FDA (1-888-463-6332).
Man I don't agree with chemical waste but you're exaggerating grossly, where exactly does one dispose of small amounts? It all goes towards pollution in someway no matter the method. Jez even if you go into a public toilet you're breathing in other's shit and piss. Put things in context

That is true, you are right. But i'd rather have hormones and hormonal medication thrown into a landfill than thrown into our water system. It's almost but not quite like the issue of proper syringe and needle disposal.
Why do I get the feeling some of these post are BS and from ex members or other trolls just to say something stupid and see who will respond?
In my community they have STOP days. (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) local independent pharmacies accept old meds etc and they a re disposed of properly.
I believe they go to a medical incinerator that captures all the vapors as well.
Also the hospital take syringes on an anonymous basis if in a red sharps container drop at the reception desk.
We as a community should be very aware of our impact on the environment....
How about a post asking if anyone needs it or wants it for free dick head ....
I just injected 100mls of tren into my toilet.
Who wants to go bobbing for apples?
