    Front Squat or Overhead Squat

Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer the overhead squat due to the help of shoulder stabilization and balance/ coordination gained with doing it.

Absolutely, but front squats require great core, and I believe they tend to work the inside of the quad and hammy more. Overheads great for balance and coord, really sinks in on the hips.

    And you didnt say why

I prefer back squats over front because my shoulders tend to give up way before my legs. So for me I don't get a leg workout doing front squats. I also get sore red shoulders from front squats.

So you lay the bar there and cross your arms? I cant do that since I had surgery... I keep my elbows uphigh and hold the clean position, which for me, makes it way easier... Perhaps try that some time if you are flexible enough... its a lot on the wrists tho.
