    Paleo diet

My 16 year old daughter who is an all year round swimmer asked my opinion on doing the paleo diet. She, by no means, has a weight problem. She is 5' 9" tall and weights 140 pounds. She swims 6 days a week, with 3 days that include some type of crossfit routine before swimming. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, they swim morning and afternoons. She averages 3-4 miles of swimming per session. She is looking for a type of diet that will help her maintain muscle mass for strength, enough carbs for energy, but would like to, as she would say it, see her muscles better(be defined). I read some on the paleo diet, but would like some input from the Guru's of nutrition that I trust here.

    Thanks

P.S. Shes a sprinter not a long distance swimmer. And yes shes pretty fast 23.90 for the 50m free and 53.88 for 100m free

Oops sorry for the times. Those should be yards and not meters. I could only wish those were meters. I would be in Rio next year.
