BROWN cous cous? Never heard of it. Is this not some derivative of brown rice rather than semolina? Or is there a brand in particular I can take a look at?

It's north African, they eat it alot of it in Morocco and Tunisia and around that region of the world. It's really simple to cook you add some spices then some boiling water over the top then leave it to stand for five mins then it ready to eat simple as that :-) it's great with some meat on the side. Great alternative to rice or pasta. The great thing about it is it absorbs all the flavors of the spices you add, I think its lovely, it's really cheap here in England too. 80p per kg at Tesco.

Great for pack lunch, add some spices to it, when your ready to eat it at work just add some hot water (like a pot noodle)

Well there you go, you live an learn. I'll keep an eye out for it.

I'm long over thinking my carb choices. I just mix em up. I regularly eat white potatoes, bagels etc. I just hit my macro's and as long as my choices don't hinder my training I'd rather 'spread the wealth' and enjoy my food a little more!

Im the same I eat potato, I keep my pasta, rice and cous cous brown. I indulge in some bad carbs a few times per week, i have to have some my fave foods from time to time just to keep me sane :-)

I read an article the other day saying they ain't Much difference between brown and white rice. If you cook your white rice so it's firm making it harder and slower for your body to digest.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion, I eat brown just to be on the safe side, I prefer white though.

It's nice if you use the right spices with it. There loads of recipes online to choose from.

My fave is Chinese curry sauce powder, just add it together /abit of boiling water, presto it's ready, add abit of chicken and veg Mmm lovely!
