    Lost in the sauce

    6 ft
    225
    about 19/20% bf
    age 28

    Meal 1:
    Protein shake (w/ bananna and glutamine)

    Meal 2:
    Tuna sandwich (1 full can) and mustard

    WORKOUT

    Meal 3:
    Chicken salad w/ little fat free dressing and cucumbers


    Meal 4:
    Dinner with 1 peice of bread, fish or chicken and veggies

    Meal 5:
    A few eggs or turkey meat before bed

    As I worked this out its roughly 2500 cals.

    Ive been running this for a month with little response.
    now I do a hard weight lift rutine (5x a week, 1 body group for 45mins-1hr)

    not cutting down as fast as I figured it would go and Im not doing this perfect, I know. But I was told that cardio drive on this would put my cal intake to low and make it worse (IE loss of muscle mass)

    Any Ideas?

    unless on drugs there will always be a loss of muscle while cutting. its teh nature of the game.

    What is your TDEE? My guess is that if you ate what you posted everyday then you would be loosing weight. The problem I have is that I like to have cheat meals.

    scoot welcome man!

    first off at 225lbs 20%bf ur rough starting maintenance cals are 2700cals

    u should be eating around 2200cals

    read sticky: dieting 101: cutting

    i prefer 60/20/20 pro/carb/fat split

    also u need to figure total macros for whatever diet u run.

    I got 1 cheat meal a week at this point. Oh and Im finishing a winni cycle . I start post cycle at the end of the week.

    when I run the online maintenance cal thing they all say about 3500??? I will do the math tomarrow to figure out the specifics of each item

    so ur 19-20%bf and u just FINISHED a cycle of winstrol? did u run anything else with it? not to sound mean but this already tells me u have no idea what ur doing!

    this ought to be good evidence of why u dont want to use online calculators!

    a good rule of thumb for starting maintenance cals: (LBM x 15)
    at 225lbs 20%bf u have 45lbs fat and 180lbs LBM
    180 x 15 = 2700cals

    IMO if u havent already u need to post ur cycle in the AAS Q and A forum to find out proper PCT protocol. depending on what other gear u have been running with the winstrol u will need to focus on recovering ur HPTA primarily and then worry about cutting later. typically when coming off a cycle calories need to be increased thru PCT to aide in recovery as well as establish gains made during cycle.

    THANKS 405 that makes alot more sense, Im planning on starting up nolvedex (40/20/20/20) . I did read the cutting sticky as well, I will read again. Thanks again
