Hi everyone I'm a 22 year old college baseball player. I've been dealing with a left knee injury for the past 2 years now and missed last season and am going to have to be out again this season. In September 2011 I had an MRI which revealed a partially torn patellar tendon in my left knee. Since that time, I have received 3 Platelet Rich Plasma injections in my knee along with arthroscopic surgery in February to clean out the excess scar tissue to try to get the tendon to heal itself. Now it's 2 years after my original injury and a new MRI showed that although the tear is no longer there, I have a bad case of tendonosis that just will not heal. I've been going to physical therapy for the past year and I can't strengthen my legs enough because of the pain and swelling caused by rehab. I've gotten sick of waiting for it to heal itself and my doctor, who is the head physician for the Anaheim Ducks, told me that there is nothing else non-invasive that can be done to help me so I'm going to have to get surgery to get the damaged part of the tendon cut out and repaired. Both of my legs, especially the left, have gotten considerably smaller and I have lost a ton of muscle. After surgery, when I am able to start rehabbing again I have a long road ahead to get to the physical shape I was in 2 years ago. A friend of mine mentioned to me that HGH might be able to help get me back on track and back on the field faster after I recover from the surgery. I've never used anything like HGH before and I was just wondering if anyone would think it would help or have any advice for me. Thanks!
