To not know how to pose you are doing it well.
Nice width. Narrow waist

pssshhhht my waist is like a 34 i think. not slim at all. gotta wear 38 pants to fit the wheels though
Terrible problem to have. Lol
My point is your back is so wide it makes your waist look thin
I though you were a powerlifter not a body builder. Or are you both.
Either way your time put in shows.
I don't bodybuild. Never have. I train with bodybuilders quite often. So I see them pose. Ill get them to show me one day. Regardless, sometimes u want to show off the muscle and it would be nice to know how to show off properly haha
You can see where the muscle connects lower on the left side of my back, I tore the right side earlier this year.
Put your hands above your hip bones squeeze in to give an appearance of thinner waist
Pull your shoulder blades apart and roll yor shoulders forward for the rear pose
Try to make your elbows
Go out far and a little forward.
Ok so I got it about half right ha
Looking wide Patrick..
Gonna go for that 750 rack pull Saturday. Oh let's do itttt
Lookin wide... Good tips from cape too...
One other good way to make ur back 'look' much bigger than your waist is to get the back closer to the camera/ judges than the waist...
So if u can lean back slightly to bring ur back closer to the camera and the hips/ waist further away it increases the difference in the lat to waist ratio...
That is correct also. So many ways to turn and angle that makes a huge difference in your look.
You might as well do the whole pose. Bring your leg with you best ham back a foot or so. Angle the toe and knee 30-40 degrees out putting a lot of weight(pressing down) on the toes.Heel slightly up. Squat slightly tightening glutes quads hams and calves while doing your back. From there keep lower body the same and go into a rear double bi shot.
Easy peasy
Sounds too complicated. Lol
It's all practice
Just lift something heavy
I can do heavy
770 rack pull heavy enough
800 in 10 days. Coming soon
Man I need to do some serious work on my deadlift. Nice work!
^^^nice Patrick and no straps used! I love making the bar bend!
Straps? Pfffttt. Who needs those. Chalk and go. Can't use straps in competition, not gonna train with them
