    Stress Fracture in Pelvic Bone

    hi guys i have a Stres Fracture in my pelvic bone from squatting to F U C K I N G heavy .. i went to 160 on 3rd set and crack down the bottom its been 3 months now no running... i was wondering what sort of training can i do to maintain speed and stay fit on my legs then go from scratch..
    any help will be appreciated

    I would talk to a phys therapist and get any exercises OK d before doing them. I would think things like seated extensions, calf raises and lying leg curls and bike riding for cardio etc would put less pressure on the pelvis than anything else but definately make sure someone who knows your injury OK,s them before you start.

    Was that 160 lbs or 160 kgs? To be honest I'd see if the doc would do a bone density scan. Just to make sure nothing else is going on. It's odd to crack your pelvis just be squatting.

    How are things progressing?
    Radiographs? Imaging like MRI / ct done?
    Pain still?
    Where is the stress fracture?
    Bone density?
    Ur age? Types of activities you are involved in? Any recent physical trauma?

    it was 160kg..

    I had a C.T Scan MRI .. MRI only picked up the stress fracture with no muscle tears nothing
    i still have some pain .
    the pain is in my groin but connected to my pelvis
    i am 21 and im a sprinter who was aiming for rio but it doesnt look good at this point of time.. im currently rehanbing and having dry needling done so only time will tell..
    im also thinking may i need to see a sports professionalist by any chance?????
