    Add CREATINE to a cycle?

Would adding CREATINE to a cycle do anything beneficial at all? I don't know what cycle I am going to do yet, but I'm just wondering if it would have any added or negative effects?

Depends for me. when i'm bulking i will use 5-7gms in the morning, then again pre workout. If i take anymore i think i just piss a lot of extra out of my system.

Otherwise, and during PCT 5gms is a good amount.

I've always used it during pct and when I'm not on cycle.

    Anyone suggest a good brand?

5 grams a day is a good starting point. Supposedly over 5 grams isn't absorbed and is excreted.

Creatine always. I buy creatine that contains creapure from germany. It is the safest and most pure, avoid the chinese stuff.

The cheapest bulk creatine mono you can find on the net...don't get caught up on brands and labeling for creatine

Mono? Really...doesn't that carry water weight? I guess thats the point of it huh.

So what's the point of it "on" cycle. I have always learned that pct yes and of course off cycle.

Do you still 2 months on one month off?

i used to take creatine daily but came to the conclusion that since my cycle was a bulk anyway, that i would wait for the last pin and start taking it again from there.

if there is some other medical related reason that makes creatine "beneficial" during a cycle that i don't know of then i would certainly reconsider and take it all the way through the next cycle.

I stop taking creatine all together about two kidney stones ago. And that was when they told me I believe it was "cpk" levels were highly elevated.

My sports physician loves creatine, but he only recommends an extra 2.5 grams per day since we naturally produce it and im 230lbs.... anything more is wasted money according to him. I rarely use more than 2.5g and I have always felt good about it.

I am starting to agree with the idea that maybe you don't need to run creatine during a bulk and save it for Pct and off cycle.

Its a great addition on cycle/off cycle and in PCT - ive used many protocols which include loading up and also before and after training. 5g doesnt touch me and I need at least 10g daily at least. Its like a mini cycle and I am a good responder to it

I agree I take it on or off cycle year round.
at a lower amount half the time though (2ish g ed) and when bulking 4-10g ed. cycle means nothing, its a cheap, safe, simple tool that will help, so why not. :-)

I see no negative effects. You could add it if you want.
I usually use CREATINE off cycle but it really doesnt matter,,just preference.

my reasoning is that if i am already on a bulking cycle, then i should be bulking. it's common for people coming off cycle to lose some amount of the bulk that they just put on. stopping the creatine during a bulking cycle won't limit any of your gains but resuming with creatine when you are coming off of the cycle will help in a small way to keep the "full" look from the bulking cycle. i suppose that it also will help your kidneys a bit to stop supplementing creatine while on cycle in order that they might be fully functional and devoted to keeping you clean and healthy on cycle.

I would be a god idea to check what your creatine levels are IMO. I live at altitude, my RBC, hemo, hematocrit and creatine are far past the norm even off cycle. Why elevate it super high when not needed? My Doc says don't take it because my blood is thick heavy and creamy, which is not so good for the heart

Is there any evidence creatine increases hemo/hematocrit. Mine runs high anyway and don't want to add to a problem if this is the case.
